Bitcoin Cash Fork leaves users behind, but is this the case?

in #hardfork6 years ago

There are now 32 MB blocks and smart contracts in bitcoin cash.

Bitcoin Hard's controversial hard fork framed many years ago in an attempt to add new functionality to the cryptocurrency protocol and separated it from its predecessor. But in the process - execution on block 530350 - a portion of the Bitcoin cash community was left behind.

When writing, the old software is running between 16 percent and 17 percent of bitcoine cash nodes and due to the way of upgrading hard fork functions (such as changes are not backwards compatible), those nodes are now running on a completely different network. Are there. In this case, if any user was running one of those nodes, then the transaction had to be done, the new, big bitcoin cash network would not recognize it.

Critics of bitcoin cash argue that it is a bad indication that so many nodes have not upgraded, because those users are now completely separated from the network.

Some people have argued about the peace around hard work that as a precaution, fewer people care about bitcoin cash. If more people care, then they argue that change will see more debate because people will be concerned about the impact, Bitcracken core contributor Black Alam argued on social media.

They said, "You can tell that the bitcoin is not cache bitcoin, given that everyone is losing their mischief at their place," he said:

"Imagine that 20% of bitcoin nodes have failed in consensus? Everyone will explode."

But supporters of the network disagree.

Lead developer Chris Posiya said in the open market of OB1, "It is a meaningless figure. It is likely that those nodes have not upgraded because they are not in use and the owners have not bothered so far."

A popular thorn
Paisia pushed back to the idea that the calm surrounding the hard fork meant anything but users were happy with the upgrade.

Despite a portion of users still upgrading their system, Patia said, all miners have upgraded. And certainly enough, reaching the fork, social media commentaries between Bitcoin cash supporters were huge in favor of change.

In a statement, Matthew Newton, an analyst at the crypto investment eatero, said: "There is full support of the community in network updates, with the budget [Bitcoin] with Bitcoin Cash, the goal is to compete with the network."

The statement continued:

"To increase the block size and to create smart contracts, it is seen as an important step in its quest to become major cryptocourrency."

New features show that they are still working properly.

Pascalia was one of the first to use OP_CAT, one of the so-called smart contracts to be added to the protocol through hard fork.

And other projects were also encouraged by new facilities. For example, due to the large block size, users can now write long messages on Bitcoin Cash Social Media Site Memo.cash.

"If this was a controversial change and those nodes did not upgrade because they wanted to live legally with global rules, there could be a problem, but I am pretty sure that there is no case here."

Negligence Contest?
She said, the hard fork continues to draw mixed reception from the wider cryptocurrency community.

The hard fork which caused the bitcoin cash was a controversial and even though the two groups have gone differently, there are still arguments on the groups of group and language usage.

Alm told SikkaDesk that he thinks that it is "insane" that Bitcoin cash developers do not care much about node figures and "it shows how small they [cigarettes] care for sovereignty."

"In the bidcoin, there are all the nodes, they are the users of the system. To dispute the fifth part of its users in hard work, is controversial or not, it is useless to say the least," Alam said.

And apart from this, many critics argue that upgrades in the latest Bitcoin cash hard fork are not fully trade-off for the system.

For example, increasing the block size greatly reduces the possibility that any full node can run in the future, because storage requirements are higher as compared to most home computers. This is a particularly controversial point, because many cryptocurrency enthusiasts believe that running the full node is the safest and most decentralized method of using technology.

Nevertheless, Bitcoin sees the effort to continue improving cryptourocians as a sign of the competing competitiveness within cash pro-space.

Newton said, "What kind of events are making clear, however, Bitcoin is the underlying feeling of competition between cash and bitcoin communities." "Both are very passionate about these properties and believe that someone will emerge as a winner."10352678725_ab50be8f34_b.jpg
