[Empiric Philosophy] The Mechanics Behind Happiness

I know everyone thinks of happiness as if it was something that gets achieved and begins to work as a permanent state of being.
Also a common misconception would be that its a state of ecstatic blissfulness. Most people don't really bother making the difference between ecstasy and happiness.

In this article we will have an empirical overview of the concept named "Happiness".

Mechanics

Every feeling at its core is derived from some sort of experience that acts as a main trigger or in other words , an ignition switch.
This means that to be "Happy" one would need some sort of interaction to occur, hence triggering an excitation. Looking at it a bit deeper we see that this excitation is caused due to a chemical reaction within the body itself, which leads us to a conclusion that these states are not much different than making a reaction happen in chemistry . This leads us to another conclusion that they have a peak and a die off period. Thus we see that one can't really keep hold of the peak itself, the peak being this permanent state of ecstasy that most referee to.

A more easier way of interpreting this would be taking drugs as an example. We get a burst of "Whatever" due to a chemical reaction within the body. Afterwards this leading to a die off.

The negatives of a forced reaction

We did say that there is a die off period within the aforementioned scheme. This die off period is caused due to the ware and tare or in other words the toll caused to the body as it needs some time to return to its balanced and optimal working scheme.
This means that the more we brute force our emotions into a roller coaster ride the more unstable our bio chemistry gets and the harder it becomes to keep a balanced state.

Adaptation

There is one thing that must be mentioned though. We as human beings are made in such a way that we are able to adapt to different circumstances. This is why spirituality is revered to be as a type or up and down scheme. The more we push ourselves in any given direction, our tolerance to its circumstances rises.

Let me share one great quote as an example.

The mind is like a muscle.
And if you want it to be really powerful, you have to work it out.
Each new fact brings you another choice.
Each new idea build another muscle.
And those muscles are going to make you really strong, those are your weapons.

For example, the more you get bombarded with negativity, the more indifferent you get in time to it. Not due to the fact that you just don't want it, but due to the fact that these chemical imbalances it creates get processed and act just like a muscle, the body adapts and resists them in the future. The same goes for the mind too as body and mind are interconnected in some occasions.

Overall

From all the aforementioned we can now derive that in order for us to be more happy we need to push ourselves towards expanding our "Muscles" in such a way that we may support a bigger weight.

Just look at it as carrying a box of happiness. Sooner or later your muscles will get tired and you will drop it.
So my suggestion is. Start small, start with something you can carry as much as you want and build on top of that. And one day you might find yourself being able to carry a weight seen impossible in the eyes of others.

Awesome post, Goldie :)
As always, we have a common way of thinking. The more I learn about how our body functions, the easier it is for me to deal with life. Most particularly, I am a fan of the brain and the heart. I don't know whether you have watched Spirit Science, but it is a must watch. I am sharing one of my favorite videos, in which I found out that our heart is a type of brain and that muscle sends more information to the brain, than vice versa.

This explains why when we are affected, it is more likely for us to say something that we are going to regret. It explains why some people miss someone that they no longer get along with, but are used to. Because the heart is used to the chemicals that the presence of that person accumulates. Life began to be very interesting when I started to observe my body as a machine that reacts to the spirit.
Love the Shri Yantra <3 Have you worked with it before, like activating it?

I haven't done any research on the concept of Shri Yantra. Maybe I could find some cross references between past experiences.

The activation of Shree (abundance) Yantra (tool), wakes up neurons in the brain. It is a tool, which awakens the control over all of life's aspects. Here is a video which the aspects are shown and this talks about its activation. It is the mother of all yantras and is very powerful. I will try it activation some day. Just by looking at it I am tripping :D Sometimes I see portals inside it, sometimes it looks like the directions of the energy in a torus, looked from above. Makes the imagination wild :)

Brilliant work @vangelov! I agree with every bit of this. Unless we do things to be constantly happy and derive fulfillment from things around us, happiness can never be attained.
