Best Electric Guitar for Beginners !!!

First of all sorry for being too late for my next post, i was busy in my final year project :).

In this post i will mention some of the best electric guitars of all types for all kinds of budget which would be appropriate for beginners.

Electric Guitars cost substantially more than the conventional Acoustic Guitars and I believe one should purchase a guitar which suits her/him the best.

Here's the list -

1. YAMAHA PACIFICA series

This offering from Yamaha is the best bet ever for beginners, this guitar is cheap i.e costs around $200 ( that's pretty cheap for an electric guitar ). Despite the low cost, this guitar doesn't fall short of features. It comes with with 22 frets, rosewood fret-board, H-S-S pickup layout i.e one humbucker pickup on the bridge and 2 single coil pickups on the middle and neck positions with a 5-way pickup selection switch, also has a vintage style tremolo with a whammy bar. Nowadays features like, adjustable truss rod and string action adjustment are common but just to mention.

P.S. - I personally bought this one as my first ever electric guitar Yamaha Pacifica 112XJ and this one has come along 7 years and still sounds great.

2. Epiphone LP-100 Les Paul

Les Paul's are one of the ultimate guitar types which are extremely versatile as they can play any kind of genres from the blues to rock and also makes metal sound good. The original Les Paul's are manufactured by Gibson but those cost over $2000, now here comes the Epiphone to the rescue providing the Les Paul at around $250. These guitars by Epiphone are obviously no match for the original Les Paul but are quite good for beginners who love Les Paul's. This Les Paul comes with 2 Humbucker pickups while the original comes with P90's, the humbuckers sound good too on this one. A 2 way switch for rhythm and lead modes and 4 rotary knobs for volume, tone and pickup intensities. This guitar combined with a decent amp can create studio like sounds. This one comes with a 22 fret rosewood fret-board, the low string action makes it perfect for shredding and soloing.

3. Squier Stratocaster by Fender

Obviously any list of guitars does not go without a Fender, here we are with a Stratocaster by Fender. This one costs around $200 and comes with S-S-S pickup layout, a 5- way pickup selection switch and volume and tone knobs. This one of those guitars which any guitar player would suggest to every beginner. It's lightweight with proper weight distribution and thin neck for comfortable playing. This one has a fret count of 21, which won't matter to many beginners. But the tone of this guitar is perfect for ear training too, and also has great versatility and can also play hard metal songs with a simple swap of a humbucker pickup over the single coil bridge pickup.
