My letter to the Decent team in Slovakia
Decent and Steem have a few valuable things in common
Hi Slovakia team!
I'm writing on behalf of the Steem/Steemit community. As you might know Decent is partly build on the same technology (graphene).
User's on the Steem blockchain earn the steem cryptocurrency by posting and curating content. There is a 7 day window for the curation of content.
Now the question is what would you say to a musician or film producer that he can make only money on his content for 7 days? Right?
I would like to ask you for an discussion and maybe an interview with the results wether the two networks, Steem and Decent could benefit from each other. I think Decent could benefit of Steem's users and Steem's users could benefit from the storage of the Decent blockchain.
However there should be a software bridge or exchange to receive the up-votes for content from users of Steem to users of Decent! Dtube.video is already doing this but there are some technical issues and the solution is not so elegant yet. I think I speak for the community by saying that it's better to cooperate then to compete.
What do you think?
