[Grateful Vibes #41] Grateful to God for Food Donations
Food donations are always appreciated when we have a new baby.
One thing we are grateful for is when family and friends offer meals to make things easier for us. My parents brought over a bunch of Thanksgiving dinner food, including turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and even pumpkin pie. We ate it too quickly to get a photo of it. (It was really good).
Then there was dinner last night:
My mother-in-law brought over cooked spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans and salad with avocado.
Then today we had visitors come by and provide some canned meats. Roast beef, chicken, ground beef, butternut squash, carrots, vegetable soup and pickles.
We really appreciate the food donations, since it saves us the effort of getting out to the grocery store and having to cook up dinner for the family.

It is a real blessing when the food arrives and you can just serve it to the family. I remember how hard it was when I had my little ones to prepare meals in those first few weeks. You are truly blessed to have family and friends close to you to do this.

That is so nice. I always appreciated it when people brought over food for us. In our area, it was more common to get gift cards to eat somewhere than to actually bring a meal. But we didn't ever want to get out with all the kids, so we just usually ended up saving them for later and making something up quickly. ;) Really an interesting idea to bring over items that have been canned! Enjoy time with the baby! :)
We are really enjoying little Daniel. I changed my first boy diaper today. What an adventure. Gotta look out for that firehose! @ironshield

What a beautiful family! Your children are adorable. I am grateful that you are so faithful to gratefulvibes! You are blessed to have good family and friends. I started off posting something daily in gratefulvibes, but now I haven't posted since just before Thanksgiving. I am preparing a post now and hope to get it up later tonight.
