Participants of the Hugyaw sa Kadagatan 2018
I woke up too early on the day of Hugyaw sa Kadagatan 2018 but it was too early because I woke up 5 in the morning so I fell asleep when I knew that it was 5 in the morning. For this reason that I fell asleep again, I woke up 8 in the morning and the street dance will start between 7 - 8 in the morning.
I was accompanied by my younger sister which is @kirei and our little sister, our eldest @kneelyrac wasn't able to watch because she's at work. We arrived in our municipal: Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte around 9 in the morning, so we proceed to the 2nd station on which they are going to stop over because there will be a judge that is going to judge and watch. I was only able to watch the 4th-6th contender in the street dance and the gakit's by the 8 participants in 13 barangay's because some of them are an infusion but thanks to my close guy friend who was able to watch the 1st contender down to 8th contender and he took a photographs of every contender in street dance and I asked him if he wouldn't mind if I am going to share his photographs but I am going to give him a credits and he said yes to me it would be his pleasure.
Check his profile guys on facebook, his name is Bob Arthur
So here are his photographs on the street dance competition Hugyaw sa Kadagatan 2018 competition!

The highlight of the Hugyaw sa Kadagatan is the gakit or the bamboo raft that is carried by a pump boat and the sea dancing on which the dancers is going to dance in the gakit on the sea, and it's kinda hard because if you keep moving, literally the gakit or the bamboo raft will also shake by your movements on the dance.
I wasn't able to watch the sea dancing because there were a lot of people who are watching and we were kinda late to position ourselves on watching the sea dancing but instead we sit beside the longest boardwalk on Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte while we can watch the gakit that is pulled a pump boat.

2nd contender's gakit
Fun Fact: My little sister said that "mao mana ang atong gekaon atong niaging gabii oh" (that is the food that we ate on the other night), she means the shrimps though hahaha
a rescuer from Linamon, Lanao del Norte because there is a dancer that was drowned in the sea because he doesn't know how to swim even though his co-dancers and the trainer told him to stay put but he refused.

4th contender's gakit
5th contender's gakit
6th contender's gakit
Our very own gakit.
The Octopus head the fish head was actually moving because there is someone inside those that would keep moving until the sea dancing of our barangay is done.
7th contender's gakit
I wasn't able to take a photo of the 8th contender's gakit because it was getting hot and I couldn't take it anymore plus it was surrounded by the crowd because it was actually staying in the place to let the dancers get into the gakit.
That would be all guys!
Thanks for dropping by!!
