My Guy Friend's Graduation

I am supposedly a graduate student now but due to some circumstances, I am always on and off sem. Nevertheless, I am back in schooling now thanks to my family, especially my ate @kneelyrac who shouldered my tuition fees.

When I transferred to another school, literally, I don't have friends since I am new to the environment but later on, when I joined "hanay" or calling our names in a platoon while in our type A uniform, I made friends because they were the ones who approached me asked me anything about my previous school, the one who's beside me is Rheeze Lee, I told her your name sounds like my mother but the difference is the spelling because my mother born on Rizal day so her name Rizalie has the name of our national hero Rizal, after that I jokingly called her my mama (mother) but I only have 1 mom so I called her mommhie ma,.

Days and months goes passed by we became close including her boyfriend that they called me their "anak" (child/daughter), they're the first one I became close in my new school, they always told me what are the do's and don't's in the school like really they guide me since I am still in the process of adjusting my new environment: my new school. Until one day we talked about graduation, they scold me for not doing my best to graduate this year I told them what's the reason behind it, somehow they understand a little bit and a little bit no. The graduating student named Junbhel Casia, he told us that when it's my graduation they will be there on one of my special days to greet me that finally! I graduated college, so before his graduation, I told him that I wanted to be there to capture on one of his special days too even though I don't have DSLR camera but my ate's camera phone when you tried to capture the rear camera it's just the same with DSLR camera if you know how to handle it.

On the very big day, I was so busy yet I told them that I will be going so I did time management on that day even though I am late, I don't have a gate pass since it's just only 2, Junbhel gave it to his mother and his girlfriend, I went to backstage and waited for 2 hours to go after the place where the graduates are there, we were sitting near on the place where they are going to march so that I can take a picture and video. His mother and Rheeza Lee were laughing at me because I did something stupid (or genius? haha) just to be on the ceremony because I can't pass through on the main door so I went to the backdoor or backstage.

I am a driller so I am required to be an honor guard too if I'm not a graduating student but I don't want that because I can't take photos for Junbhel, my co-drillers saw me and I just nod at them because they need to be serious because they are an honor guard.

I saw my one of my close friend from my previous school to our new school is part of the colors. I saw my gay friend from my previous school attending the graduation day of his boyfriend and of course my umi (mother in meranao) in my previous school altogether with his husband and their father.

I felt so proud that my batchmates were walking on the red carpet with their proud parents, grandparents, siblings, girlfriend/boyfriends and etc.

I had goosebumps when I saw a criminology student walking on the red carpet with her grandparents, I almost shed tears because ever since I saw my grandfather (on father's side) last year I've always prayed to God that if I graduate I want my grandfather and my grandmother (on mother's side) to walk with me on the red carpet, that's why I am also working hard because they are getting older and both of them had a disease or an illness that needs to be cured but we lack for money.

Junbhel's mother went home after walking on the red carpet because her baby boy will be going to cry if he will not see his mother by his side, so auntie rushingly went home and she gave me her gate pass.

When the ceremony is over Rheeza Lee and I take a picture of us facing the sun because the sun is almost setting, but she doesn't like it though because she can't see clearly on the photo because of the sunlight.

Accidentally twinning with our outfits hahaha

15 minutes later the ceremony is over, the crowd was in chaos because of the people I mean not organize because of picture taking, finding the relative and so forth, I was literally shouting Junbhel's full name until we saw him and congratulate him, he is always smiling that's why I teased him. Then I took the picture taking for them and also for us because as what we've said I am proud, I even jokingly told him that this gate pass that was given to me should be a proud daughter and not a proud parent because I am his daughter and I am not his parent. hahaha

By the way, I am always the third wheel and that is one of my profession to become a third wheel always in every friend I have that has a girlfriend/boyfriends.

We were supposedly going to have a dinner with the three of us but Rheeza Lee's mother (which is one of my mother's friend) kept calling Rheeza Lee to come over to the restaurant where they will be going to have a dinner with their family and relatives. Junbhel was kinda disappointed because if he knew that this will happen maybe he asked his mother again to come back and bring his little brother so that they can have a dinner date with his mother and his little brother, and also Rheeza Lee was sad because she can't be with her boyfriend celebrating the graduation but I was there laughing at them because we can celebrate it at some time even though it's a little bit late.
