All what he ever wanted was money. When he was a little boy, he dreamed about all he would buy if he ever got rich. He wanted the cars and houses that he saw on the Internet. He was a smart boy, he could understand things very quickly, but he hated school from the first class. He wanted to be rich, and school wasn't making him any richer.

When he decided that school was a waste of his time, his friend Eddy, told him about this job where he could make a lot of money very easily. The cartel was in need of 'Halcones' ('Hawks'), the job was simple. He would have to watch a zone of the city and call back to his superior in case of the presence of the army or any other suspicious people.

The money was good, was very good for someone his age and the job was very easy indeed. After the first month, he was able to buy himself an used car. He said to himself that he wouldn't be able to buy a car if he would stay in school, he had made a good choice.

As time passed, he got sick of that old, crappy car. He had to change the battery several times, and he kept having trouble to start it very often. He wanted a new car, a bigger car, something that would make people jealous. He needed to start making more money.

'If you want to get more money, you'll have to become a better asset for the cartel' said Eddy. He needed to bring money into the cartel if he wanted a raise, his first task was to sell some cocaine to his ex-schoolmates. 'Once that they are hooked, they'll come back for more.'

He couldn't know that this was the plan of Eddy and the Cartel since the beginning. They tried to sell their drugs in this middle-class high school for months, but they needed someone from inside to open up the market.

What the cartel didn't know, was that 'El Flaco' had been selling drugs in the high school for years. 'El Flaco' was a guy from the rival cartel that didn't appreciate the competition in his territories.

'El Flaco' was a practical man, he would give some free powder to the kids of the school, in exchange for a name. After that, one bullet would do the job.
