Goldenhourphotography A perfect evening stroll along Maroochy River at Cotton Tree Australia
We just returned from a beautiful evening walk along the Maroochy River at Cotton Tree Australia. As the sun set, the full moon was rising and the high tide flowing in, a huge flock of Terns were trying to settle on the shrinking sand bars.
After such a wet and stormy couple of weeks a perfect balmy evening was such a treat for us all.

The moon is so bright in the sky! What time was that?
How could the moon be so bright while the sun has not set completely?
It was just after 6pm and there was about 20 minutes between the first photo and the last so the sky was getting darker quickly.

At first I thought it was the midnight sun! But, then that wouldn't be right for Australia!
