White Light Pours from the Clouds – GoldenHour Photography
During my recent stay on Koh Samet, most of the days were bright and sunny. In fact, this was the only morning that was entirely cloudy.
A grey dawn
Most mornings when I crawled out of my cabin, the bright sun was already peeking over the eastern horizon and filling the sky with warm tropical light.
On this dawn, however, the sky was completely covered with thick grey clouds. For more than 2 hours after sunrise, not a single ray of direct light appeared through the heavy cloud cover.
The light pours down
Eventually, however, a break appeared in clouds, and the sunlight began to pour through. Rays of bright white sunlight shone through the crack in the clouds and reflected off the sea.
It took a few more hours before all the clouds drifted away, but, as evident in this photo, the mighty sun was not gonna let a few clouds stand in the way of its brilliance.

Amazing photo. It seems to me that this photo reflects one of the heavenly places on earth. Good luck to you and Love.
Thanks. Yes, to a great extent, the scenery was truly "divine."
Looks like trees are growing upside down there, looked twice to see if it wasn't a camera trick.
Cool new avatar by the way, cheers!
When the master is on camera, one naturally see tricks. @majes.tytyty another beautiful shot
No camera trick, just proper framing. In fact, you'll notice that plenty of my photos have leaves or branches sticking into the top, or the sides, or sometimes even into the bottom of the frame.
That often adds a nice touch.
Glad you like the new avatar. And amazed that you noticed!! Good eyes. Or... good "micro-lens"!!
Yeah, it's like a counter-weight, I get it, I do that when drawing :)
Cool. Simple little tricks are a part of making good (or great) works.
Wow, this photo is so great, timing is crucial in this shot, very good capture sir @majes.tytyty
