The online businesses are ridden with a lot of problems lately.
Website page loads are ridiculously slow and traditional CDN (content delivery network) services are doing no good job in handling them. They are limited in their approach and feasibility.
Furthermore, The news of cyberhacks is increasing day by day in the front pages of medias.
I'm sure nobody has forgotten the Equifax hack.
To add another headache to it, traditional cyber protection services are very costly and at the end of the year,
they leave a large hole in your pocket.
The rise in the technology and advancements in the programming sector has given birth to more and more sophisticated hackers and costs for services like CDN hosting and DDoS mitigation is skyrocketing.
Maybe it was time the prayers of online business owners were being heard... and by the power of gods, they sent Gladius to earth.
Your very own Gladiator to erase all of these problems.
Amidst all this chaos... Gladius aims to solve all of these and restore order by using the power of blockchain. Traditional protection services are headed out towards extinction for sure.

What is DDoS attack, you ask?
Denial-of-service (DDoS) is where a hacker set-up systems floods a specific target by sending spam messages, requests and packets. Often, it overloads the system and causes a system crash which leads to the 'Denial-of-service' (DDoS) to legitimate users and systems.
Traditional centralized DDoS defense systems are no good at preventing these attacks because most of the times they face a huge traffic and it requires a lot of processing power and bandwidth to stop these attacks.
Gladius aims to solve this by using localized networks in the blockchain and using the unsused but rented bandwidth.
The traditional CDN services are also very costly. Gladius accerlerates the page load times and improves site performance at very low costs.
Gladius, a promising blockchain startup, is aiming to combat malicious DDoS attacks and decentralize & democratize CDN services.
It protects the server processes, creates a distributed CDN and provides a sufficient bandwidth to nullify DDos attacks.
