Get A Record - Track 2 Phase 2 UPDATE + BEATLIST - Be on vinyl!
Hi all.
One week of the #getarecord contest has gone by. The beatlist has been growing, and there is still one week to go to send in beats before the submission round ends. For those who don't know what #getarecord; It's all about making an actual vinyl record with 8 songs of steemians in collaboration. More about this in this post.

The beatlist is the list where vocalists can choose 1 song to make vocals on from. The 'instrumental' tracks that are sent in in week 1 is listenable here

No worries, this list will be updated in 7 days, when week 2 ends. Make sure when you submit a post that it is possible to download it, because else there can be no vocals made for. Also if you upload it on soundcloud I can easily add it to the list and it is possible to listen to all in one posts. Works easier!.
With Soundcloud its possible to have a playlist directly in the post which works way more efficiently then having the track only downloadable for 7 days.

I'm going with @Archai's No.Hop beat. I did the whole 7 minutes. Here's the vocals with no beat. It's a video, so i guess you'd have to convert it to mp3.
@archai can try to get the vocals on the trrack glued together.. i recommend however to just record it with a mic... i mean 8 tracks max for an ep.. to custom made them is not cheap at all and goes over 1 k to get everyone the result in bulk else its 100 euro per vinyl... so high quality is a huge huge pre for getting on there as you can understand but i think you are good enough to make it to that with your raps so try to get yourself on audio and on that beat other than a vid.. vids can't reach the quality standard here man, and its not relevant to see who's rapping but about how it sounds :P if you need help with recording just reach out
I tried to use my pocket studio that has to mics on it, i turned the beat all the way down and recorded it but when i played it the beat was loud. That's why i used the tablet, i didn't want to make a video, but that was the only way i could record it without the beat. I need to be able to hear the beat so i can catch the flow. idk if this won't work i try to like put the beat on an mp3 player and have two head phones on. I'll get in contact with @archai and see if this will work. Thanks for the feedback bro!
@archai blog has no post or comment so i can't talk to him, so will this work? I know you can convert videos to mp3s i just forgot how to do it.

Cool, i'll check that out. I think i fix the problem, i put the beat on a mp3 player and had it play in one ear and recorded on my pocket studio with its playing in my other ear. lol so now i have the vocals without the video and it sounds better becuz it has two mics and WAV format. i'll post it here in a little bit brother.
Hey man, thanks for submitting the vocals for my song. I think the song is really chilled and has positive vibes, with a bit of smooth sensual textures here and there while the vocals, lyrics and the style you interpreted the song are kinda harsh and aggressive, not sure they fit together so well. No offense & thank you for your understanding :)
Your welcome, out of the list of beats i liked yours the best. Then i found out it was 7 minutes long! I didn't know if i should to the whole thing or just do have? LOL But i add a lot of content on those 7 mins. It's not all harsh and aggressive bro. If you listen to the first verse it has a lot of math involved in it, the second verse is not that harsh( at least i don't think so ) the third is about trust and friend ship, the forth is sensual and sexual, fifth is about how the internet can be used for bad things and how we're being monitored then has a lil aggression at the end. What i'm trying to say is....the beat was very long and i wanted to cover all topics = sex, the internet,math, trust, friendship , etc. I hope this break down will change your mind and you'll mix this for me. I want to be on this project really bad.
Hey brother, if i don't win the #getarecord can i still use the song on my next EP? I'm not gonna sell it, just put it on d-sound and soundcloud. If it hits and the payout is huge we can split it if you want. Just thought i'd ask before i put it on my EP brother.
