Last week we organised a photo contest where anyone could show us a picture of his neighborhood or vacation while explaining a feature that can be seen on the picture. In the meanwhile all posts have been assessed and the voting has ended. To read the announcement of the contest go here:

Winners

In total 5 SBD worth of prizes have been distributed. The most voted post will earn the first prize of 3 SBD. The second most popular article receives 2 SBD and even the third post gets 1 SBD.

Third place

The author that managed to end on the third place with his post is @effofex with his post on funnel weaving spiders.

Second place

The post that got slightly more votes than the third one is @liquidtravel's post. He takes us to a batholith of one billion years old that can now be seen as Enchanted Rock in Texas.

First place

But at last, the post that interested the most people is one from @sooflauschig. When he visited the Ungava Peninsula in northern Quebec he took a picture of a nice basalt outcrop.

What is Geopolis?
