LOL! Thank you! I might be regretting the whole giant squash quest when I am out there with a blanket in the middle of the night in August thanks to an early frost, or due to the whole coddling of the squash thing in general, but oh what fun it will be to set sail in the SS Ginormica! 😎
We will all be waiting for updates. Let's hope your frost holds off until September, at least. I've heard of old-timers nicking the underside of the vine and laying it in milk, to really nourish the pumpkin and grow a really giant one. I think that would be a scary thing to do, unless you have a half-dozen or so of these special plants growing. That would be a lot of coddling! ; )
