Hi guys and good day to you all out there,

Today going to review somewhat of an old game, that I believe most probably forgotten or probably some didn’t play it as well, its one of the earliest game I played on android device and I consider it kind of old from my point of view don’t know about you but 5 years back seems pretty Old for me.

Although, the game came out 2011 and I doubt it had that more public view. If you played it before now do leave a comment behind.

Right from the start, there was always something about strategy games that looked really interesting as compared to FPS games or combat games, they were kind of challenging and requires you thinking much when trying to level up or beat a particular stage.

Sometimes, we actually find ourselves battling with a certain stage for 2, 3 days and a never ending puzzle been calculated up there about the best route or tactics to use as to are to advance forward be it to defeat a boss or one of its sub-ordinate, the thrill and suspense is always there, don’t know what you would find next and can’t wait to see the next task.

From my little experience playing strategy game, I see them as somewhat of brain booster, does not involve you taking any drugs of such or sticking with a particular diet, but rather it task the brain like it would when presented with a difficult situation and as such acts as a brain booster, showing and giving you different situation or events of what to happen from every and any decisions you make while playing the said strategy game, with that be said, I don’t think gaming is actually a waste of time and should be somewhat of an activity to boost our brain power now and then.

Anomaly: Warzone Earth now unlike most tower games, you probably get to defend your region by constructing good enough towers and upgrading them to shoot and destroy any force that comes close within a particular circle or region, well Anomaly: Warzone Earth is the opposite of that. Instead of a defense tower base game, its actually an offence tower base game were your objective is to destroy the enemy towers, turret call it whatever you like but they just have to go down.

Like I said, it’s a strategy based game, so you think of the best way to tackle and destroy the tower.

The game takes place in a futuristic environment. Although, don’t know if I should still call it that after all we currently in 2018 and the game well was developed 6, 7 years back and if this is not the future from then, I don’t know what is xD.

That been said, the storyline is based on aliens finding their way to different regions on earth, where they setup different equipments and for some reason, seems to be causing anomalies around the world crating unusual activities, affecting raders, satellite and others.

These anomalies need to be stopped and to do that, we need to know what is causing them, meaning we have to advance deep within enemy territories, captured regions were the aliens now control. Also, our guest or intruders, well lets just say they are not that accommodating to other tribes, that’s human.

Unlike most strategy game that would require you advancing forward in a stealth like mode, using different surprise tactics to best increase your chances of winning, Anomaly: Warzone Earth requires you going through the front door and making the loudest sound that you can, almost like you want them to know you are there.

You will take control of a group of tactical vehicles equipped with different and special equipment’s to better increase your chances of winning.

Just like every other game, you are somewhat greeted with a small and not so dangerous first level and as usual, your equips are yet to become powerful to destroy stronger opponents.

You start the game with not much force and as the level increases and you advancing forward, the number of troops you can control increases as well, giving you a bigger and better arsenal at your disposal. Each vehicle can be customized and upgraded to meet different stage requirement.

You are given different vehicles, some very fast but little fire power, some slow but can take the damage, others acting as a field doctor, healing damages taken as the game progresses and then the main arsenal, your vehicle position/outline goes a long way to ensure total victory or not.

Most times you would have to learn the lesson the hard way by first failing.

Experience is the best teacher.

The possibility of creating your own game style is there, different gamer with different tactics/ positioning, meaning what might work with me, might not do same with you.

You have to really understand the game and task yourself about what best and possible scenario your vehicles would take out all towers.

Just like some board games, the option to sacrifice some of your vehicles will be presented to you as the game progresses and you would have to make that decision sooner or later, meaning to achieve a particular objective you have to make certain sacrifice and let some go.

It does not just apply to the game, but also to real life situations, in other to move forward, sometimes we have to let go of somethings, they might look interesting to stay with but then you just have to let go, guess that’s one of the things Anomaly: Warzone Earth teaches us.

Along the game, you will be prompted to pickup power ups which would give you better advantage by providing decoys giving the towers different target to shoot, temprorary taking their sights from you and also deploying smoke screens to mask your position, how best to use them it all depends on you and no such tutorial or hint is giving to you.
