Crazy means of payment in games - Money does not grow on trees

Dollars, pounds and euros. Only a small selection from the number of available payment options in the world. In games, it is sometimes quite wild in terms of currency types. The strangest you will find in this list of crazy money in games!

5. Dosh

'Dosh, grab it while you can lads!' What to do if strange monsters walk the world? Indeed, together with a group of strange guys in attack! Of course, that can only be done if there are some decent weapons available, so they have to be bought.

In Killing Floor 1 and 2, you can take it on your own or with others against the most weird creatures. Depending on the class you choose, you do that with crossbows, rocket launchers, swords or pistols. To get a better weapon, you must first have a lot of kills behind your name before you have enough to spend.

The currency in Killing Floor is simply dosh. The British influence in the game is abundant and the currency is also denied the street word for money. Because you do not ask your friends for a few pounds? No: 'A nyone got some dosh?'

4. Neo Shekels

Some games do not take themselves seriously. Barkley, shut up and jam: Gaiden also belongs to that category and it is therefore not strange that the currency in the game makes as many eyebrows frustrate as the game itself.

In the title, a walk is taken with basketball players, who will be hunted by Michael Jordan in the near future. The use of a basketball is no longer permitted after a so-called Chaos Dunk (a very hard dunk) killed millions of people at a sporting event.

One of the crazy means of payment in Barkley, shut up and jam: Gaiden is the so-called Neo Shekel. This currency not only carries the name of the Israeli currency, but also the logo (a Davidster) is known. The title could just get a place in the biggest wtf moments in games.

3. Cardridges

In order to avoid the discussion about magazines and clips, i just keep on bullets in this case. The payment method is in the famous Metro games ! No ordinary bullets, of course, but unused shiny patterns are the (undefeated) currency.

In a world where everything is shot and people live in the metro tunnels, many products are scarce. Exchange trading is a way to stay alive, but building buildings to unused pre-war munitions is a better alternative.

In the Metro books, main character Artyom exchanges self-baked tea for useful items, but in the games the blast is blown out. The more bullets you find, the easier it becomes to buy better weapons and equipment at the next station.

Of course, you can also make a decision to put the shiny patterns in a warehouse and use it to see enemies. These bullets are a lot stronger than the recycled fun, but you literally take away your money....

2. Blood echoes and Souls

Dive into the space of the final boss and run back to get your soul. Souls? Certainly, because the payment method in Dark Souls is the souls of the beings killed by you.

Where souls in Bloodborne take place for Blood Echoes, the principle remains the same. The greater the essence, the more souls or echoes you get. They can then use you to buy equipment, appreciate or make yourself stronger.

The world of Dark Souls is dangerous because behind each wall is danger. The further you are from a bonfire, the heavier the burden of gathered souls weighs. Because what if you die in a wrong place? Then you have done all the effort for nothing!

1. Bottle Caps

With Metro in place three in this list of crazy payment tools in games, it's the second with a number one title in which the world is broken. In the Fallout games, dollars, pounds and euros have been made for bottle tops.

Anyone who opens a beer on Friday night will seize the cap in the trash. The same cap is retrieved by the player in Fallout years later in a trash can. Instead of a worthless cap, the bottle closure is worth gold money with which everything can be bought.

I do not say that you have to keep bottle tops from now on in a shoe box "in case that's" but a very crazy idea is not. Bethesda was also able to laugh that a fan was trying to purchase his copy of Fallout 4 with his collection of bottle tops. You never know when they will come true!
