Zombicide Invader - M03 Epic Final

Hello everyone,

I received this month my kickstarter pledge on Zombicide Invader. I had been waiting for the package for a year while it was in production.

This is an overview of my latest play run.

I choose the Orphan gang which was part of the optional promo characters. They are a kid gang with a 90's sci-fi style. Like the Goonies or Big Hero 6... But in space... Pretty cool, right?

The team is very well balanced with melee specialists like the big guy 'Goliath'...

Ranged focused members like the cute blondie 'Jennie' or even the cool kid named 'Baby'...

The bot control specialist would be 'The Wizard' who is very powerful from the start with the 'Peacekeeper bot' but would be nothing without it...

To finish up there is the gang leader 'Clops' and the tempestuous 'Ink'.

'Ink' is one of my favourite members. Why is he so much trouble? He has a zero gravity jump once per turn flying over targets to reach a better position. That makes him a risk taker and he often ends up in difficult situations...

So that's where Mission 3 got us. Our mission was to protect the exit zone until the space mining crew has finally embarked the spaceship. They slowly did that 1 person per turn 10 times.

Now 2 crew members are left to embark and the Xenos Abomination shows up. The most powerful alien around. This alien race used to be friendly but a virus turn them into flesh eating beasts.

Hopefully we have the deadly 'Goliath' in the gang. He can kill an Abomination, eyes closed. He recently powered up to get the 'Super Strength' skill for that purpose...

He is the only adult in the gang but he's rather silent and follows the little Jennie around like a bodyguard. I think he lost part of his brain power and is limited to a protection instinct.

Of course before that our team cleared the station from all kinds of deadly aliens. They have been pretty effective. Only 'Baby' took a hit earlier. Tank aliens are not afraid to hurt children apparently.

So here we are...

One on one.

Let's end this ugly mess once and for all.

Of course he shredded his ass in one roll!

And that gave enough time for everyone to reach the launching pad before the next wave of xenos.

Unfortunately the spaceship had left without them...
A rumor says the army is shooting at civilian spaceships trying to escape. There is no way to know... But our gang tried their very best.

They'll stick around to fight some more.
They must be some scientists left to rescue in the other wing of the station.

This is not over...
