Hello everyone, hope you're all doing well, and welcome to my 5 Upcoming PS4 and Xbox One Games for March 2018! Nowadays there are so many games on the horizon that it becomes difficult to keep track of it all. Sometimes developers show off their upcoming projects way before they actually get released, and by the time they finally hit store shelves you've forgotten about them completely. Other times games pop up out of nowhere and quietly drop under the radar. So it can be easy to overlook what comes out month to month and you might end up missing out on a title that you would really enjoy. That's why I've decided to make a list of the games that I think people should be aware of coming out in March, which is only a couple days away now. So let's begin.

DEVIL MAY CRY HD Collection (PlayStation 4, Xbox One) - March 13th 2018

Devil May Cry has been around since 2001, and has been one of Capcom's most popular series. This collection features the first three games all together in one remastered package. Many people consider the first three games to be the best ones, so it's great to be able to play these old classics with a fresh coat of paint on modern consoles. Capcom hasn't given away all the details of what upgrades we can expect from this HD Collection, but they have said that all three games will run at 60 fps.

You play as protagonist Dante, who is on a quest to avenge his Mother by killing every demon he can get his hands on. These are fast paced action games where you try to string together combos while taking out large groups of enemies, or huge demonic bosses. These games sold incredibly well when they were first released and have been ported a bunch of times, but hopefully this will be the definitive way to experience them. If you've never had the chance to try these out before I would definitely recommend picking this up, especially since it's only $30.

BURNOUT PARADISE Remastered ( PlayStation 4, Xbox One) - March 16th 2018

The Burnout series of racing games were always some of my favorites. They don't take themselves too seriously, and the cars are extremely easy to handle unlike a racing simulator like Grand Turismo. These games encourage reckless driving, reward you for taking out your opponents, and allow you to perform crazy stunts while racing around. Paradise was the last one of these I remember playing quite awhile ago, but it was my favorite one because this time you get to freely drive around the city doing whatever you like.

They give you an open world type of environment where you can freely explore the city, looking for races to partake in or maybe just a good place to try out a stunt. This remastered version comes with not only the base game, but all of the DLC that was released for it as well. That includes an extra edition to the open world called "Big Surf Island", motorcycles, legendary cars and more. I'm excited for this because I never played any of the DLC before so it should make everything feel more fresh. Pick it up for $40 on March 16th.

SEA OF THIEVES (Xbox One) - March 20th, 2018

Sea of Thieves is a pirate themed action adventure game that focuses on cooperative multiplayer, and is done in a first person perspective. You take on the role of a pirate going out on the high seas, with a group of friends who play along side you. Once you get your ship out to sea each member of your group must take control of one part of the ship to make it more efficient. One person must hoist the sail, one has to navigate, one fires the cannons, and of course somebody has to steer. The gameworld is shared by everyone who's playing at the time, so you will often run into other groups who can choose to be friendly or battle with you.

This game is a Microsoft exclusive title that offers cross play between console users and PC players. It was shown off awhile ago at one of the E3 conferences, and people have been talking about it ever since. Xbox One has been lacking on good exclusives this generation, so I'm hoping this will be a success for them. Honestly I don't know a ton about it other than you search for treasure by taking out other players and reading maps. It has a cartoonish graphic style that some people might not like, but the water is beautiful looking judging from all the clips I've seen. This finally comes out on March 20th, so go check it out.

NI NO KUNI 2: REVENANT KINGDOM (PlayStation 4) - March 23rd, 2018

Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom is something I've been looking forward to for a long time now. Since I never owned a PS3 I didn't get the chance to play the first one, although I've heard great things about it. This is a sprawling RPG developed by Level - 5 and tells the story of a young king who gets usurped from his throne. You get to control this character as he goes on an epic journey to try and reclaim what's rightfully his. There's a huge world map to explore with lots of unique towns filled with people that need your help, or who might want to help you on your quest.

As you fight to reclaim your crown you will need to build up the town of Evermore by building things like farms, shops, and barracks to increase the economy and provide new weapons and tools that you can make use of. Combat takes place in real time, not the turn based system of old school role playing games, and features a mix of melee and magic. The entire game is done in an incredible looking hand drawn style, that fills the world with vibrant colors and gives everything a very unique feel. Anyone who enjoys games like Final Fantasy will probably like this as well, but keep in mind it's only coming out for PS4 and PC. You can look for Ni No Kuni 2 on March 23rd, 2018.

FAR CRY 5 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One) - March 27th, 2018

The Far Cry series has been around for quite awhile now, and throughout the years it's gone through many changes in terms of setting and story. We've been to tropical islands, up in the mountains, and even back in the stone age. This time around it takes place in Montana, USA and you are going up against a radical cult. There's a crazy preacher who's taken over Hope County and is responsible for some horrible things. Now it's up to you to take this guy out and bring peace back to this once quiet area. I usually have fun with these games, and I've skipped the last couple that came out so I think there's a good chance I will pick this up.

In Far Cry games of the past everyone always played as the same character, but this is the first one to feature a character creator letting you customize the protagonist. This will have all the usual trademarks of the series, lots of guns and explosives, bases to take out, and of course a bunch of vehicles to cruise around in and cause mayhem. I'm hoping that the developers will have included enough new mechanics to give people something new and surprising to add to the formula this time. We wont have to wait too much longer to find out what's in store for us because this one drops on March 27th, 2018. It looks very promising for anyone who's a fan of this long running series.

Thank you for checking out my Upcoming Games for March List, I hope you enjoyed it!

This was awesome. Just yesterday I was considering if it was worth it to buy a PS4 and an Xbox though didn't know of any good games but you just made my day by showing me all these games and I didn't even know about DMC at all,
I had only played DMC 3 and was thinking about 4 but I think I'll just take em all, wouldn't have known if not for this. Thanks so much.

Also only played DMC3, this way I'll also be able to go through the OT, though if I'm being honest I'm more hyped for Far Cry 5. Season Pass for that will also include remastered Far Cry 3 for anyone who wants to relive the definition of insanity.

Upvoted & Resteemed.

Thanks very much I appreciate it! I'm definitely getting DMC collection, those games are great and I haven't played them in a long time.

Nice post. Doesn't look like you are getting the votes you deserve though. You should check out steemengine.
