Skyroads - Nostalgic Space Bar Jumping Game (Original As Always)

Hey guys, we were thinking of doing a mention of an old game that we've played when we were kids.

It was a close call between Putt Putt Goes To The Moon and Skyroads. We decided to use Skyroads as today's game of the day!

First things first, as we're so used to good game graphics now in 2017, we're definitely not used to the graphics in Skyroads. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the game so much back then.

Thinking back to those glory old days, we actually tried playing Skyroads again! And it was frustrating! Perhaps we were better as kids, but we suck so bad now. We didn't even finish one map! You can actually play Skyroads on ClassicReload. They have the old games hosted on their site.

How does Skyroads work?

Basically, all you can do is jump, accelerate and move left or right. The map is a constant straight map and the goal is to not crash your space car and not fall down from the map.

Most of the time, there is little room for error. It's definitely a precision and timing game, so you may actually enjoy it. Back then, we didn't have elaborate games like they do now, and a game like Skyroads was gold.

We thought it would be easy playing as adults, but turns out it may be harder!

What's the goal of the game?

To make it to the end without dying.

How many maps are there?

Based on the image, there are 30 maps but we can't recall how it was in the past. It should be the same though. Some of the maps were really familiar.

Each map has a different background. Back then, this would be a huge difference. LOL.
