Modern Combat 5: Blackout is the latest series brought to you by gameloft. And it was release on july 2014 by Wil Lane. It a continuation of Modern Combat 4. Being a First-person shooter game, it offers both single-player mode and multi-player mode. The major character in Modern Combat is Caydan Phoenix. The story begins with Caydan Phoenix and Daviau arguing about resent invent in Tokyo, Gilma HQ. With the attack on Venice, Italy, and a cyber-attack on networks in Asian. All carried out by an army know as World liberation army. Caydan Phoenix insisted that the attack was a deception for a greater purpose. Daviau doubted him.
With Caydan Phoenix mission being to neutralize Saunders and stop the world liberation army from further destruction towards humanity. Modern Combat 5: Blackout offer 7 different classes such as bounty hunter, support, assault, heavy, X- Morph, sapper and recon. And each objective being 5 minutes long.

The good thing is the player can access any weapon regardless of his class. Unlike the previous series it has more Game modes to play through. Free for all, squad battle, zone control, VIP, Cargo, rush mode, team battle and capture the flag are all the different modes. With each of the modes offering juicy rewards. Modern Combat 5 takes you to different parts of the world from Japan down to Italy. In Modern Combat 5 you get to unlock different classes as you play because not all the classes are unlocked at first.

The graphics of Modern Combat 5 cannot be underrated as it brings you the best 3D graphic experience to your mobile device. You get to see every little detail of your characters ranging from his outfit, weapons and environment clearly. The animation is well detailed you get to experience and awesome moment as if you were the character in the game. Everything displayed in Modern Combat 5 is of a higher quality.

The game control is dope. The developer has even introduced bullet time to the series. All the controls are displayed virtually on the screen with the joystick being placed on the left side of the screen and to the right side of the screen are battle buttons. And it can be easily access even by a novice. The joystick on the left hand side is used for the backward, forward and sideward movement of your character.

Sound

The sound of Modern Combat 5 is incredibly good as you get to hear every sound ranging from the different weapons, exploding buildings and helicopters. The sound is a taste of perfection as you get to listen to war sound from every battle with no over lapping between the background sound and the shooting sound.

In Modern Combat 5 multiplayer you get to join forces with other available squad. It offers 5 different modes ranging from Squad battle, capture the flag, VIP, team battle and Free for all.

Likes

I like almost everything about Modern Combat 5. It’s a very cool and tension filled game with cool 3D graphics with varieties of weapons to choose from. Everything is almost perfect when it comes to Modern Combat 5.

Dislike

The one thing I dislike about Modern Combat 5 is the fact that you’re required to be online before you can play which is not good for me. I hope the developers will try and fix this feature. But all the same, Modern Combat 5 is and awesome game to play.
