It's the weekend again and you know what that means! It's almost time for the Sunday 50 SBD No Limit Texas Hold'em Freeroll Poker Tournament on Lucksacks.com! Tomorrow's tourney counts towards Team-Up Points, so it's sure to be a good game!

As we can see from this post (upvote to support Steem Poker League prizes), Team Epic is currently in first place with The Unicorn Fairies firmly in second.

What is Team-Up Poker?

You might be asking yourself this question. The Steem Poker League, which hosts freeroll poker tournaments and other games on our own site at Lucksacks.com, has a Team-Up competition, of which we are currently in the second season. Prior to the competition, Lucksacks players formed teams of 3 and came up with a name and logo.

Team members receive points according to how high they finish up the leaderboard in certain tournaments. Tomorrow's Sunday 50 SBD NLH Tournament is the next tournament that counts towards Team-Up points.

The Faceless Men will be looking to continue their surge up the rankings and challenge the top teams for a chance at @spl glory.

Lucksacks' Schedule

Even if you slacked on getting a team together for this season of Team-Up play, you can still enter and play any of the games on Lucksacks for free! (You just won't get Team-Up points).

Lucksacks works on a play chip system, where each member is eligible to receive 1000 play chips per week. Weekly tournaments cost 20-100 chips to enter. You can earn more chips playing ring games or win a Satellite Tournament which grants you a ticket into a Freeroll Tournament.

Unfortunately, the Steem Poker League has had to scale back operations due to a lack of support from the steemit community. Lucksacks had always been free to sign-up and free to play, but payouts from @spl posts were barely covering the prizes for tournaments, not to mention supporting those putting in work to maintain our very own Lucksacks online poker portal.

We still very much want to continue playing poker and enjoying the awesome people who make up the poker community on steemit, but until enough whales cough cough decide that supporting this kind of thing is worth their time and attention, the offerings on Lucksacks will have to remain limited. The schedule is as follows:

Ring Games

You can earn more play chips through ring games, which are always available.

Offerings include Limit and No Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit and No Limit Omaha, NL Omaha Hi-Lo, Limit Stud, and H.O.R.S.E.
There's even an option to learn Limit and NLH as well as PL Omaha in tables with bots. Check it out and improve your skills!

Sit & Go's

Sit & Go's offer you a chance to earn tickets into Freeroll Tournaments! Once enough people have joined, games start automatically and the winner gets a ticket into a 50 SBD Tournament. You can also earn chips through various Sit & Go tables. Finally, there is a Bot Gauntlet where you can face off against increasingly difficult bots to claim your fame as the master of robots!
