As it stands while writing this Kingdoms Mobile is what I consider to be the best game on the F2P market within its genre. I base every review on several factors ranging from community to in game mechanics, on average it takes about a month if not longer to write a review. So let's jump right in, from the start of the you get a lot of help from the game walking you through the basics with the tutorial but it is all skippable without any penalties. This feature I enjoy because I made 4 accounts until I was happy with my play style, that fact alone is a testament to the variety available in Kingdoms Mobile.

World System: Your castle is automatically created in the newest world and randomly placed in it. Each world has over 100 different strongholds that hold a territory and guilds fight for control of these strongholds. Buffs are applied to any guild member that moves within range of the stronghold and your territorial control appears on the map, along with that you gain daily resources based off which stronghold you capture. After several days all strongholds reset and all players fight for control, before this happens all resources gained by stronghold control are distributed amongst all guild members based on rank. There are posts in each SH and once a player is appointed to a post they gain a additional buffs. IE The Duke of Atlantis gains x% increase to troop production, x% increase to resource production etc..

The Basics: Quests, campaign, build, research, upgrade, train soldiers, collect freebies & craft.
Just like every other game in its genre these are the basis of player growth. A small list that includes a lot of information. Quests plentiful and come from multiple sources. You have daily quests, progression related quests, guild quests that are found under the "Gala". All ranging from easy difficulty such as building a farm all the way to time-based-difficulty as in donating a certain amount of resources to your guild. This brings me to the events, similar to quests except you have to complete certain tasks gaining you points, more points you have the bigger the reward and you also compete with all other players in your world. Events cycle from every few hours to every few days depending on the event, but there are always multiple activities going on. Most important of which goes on the first week you create your castle.

Items, crafting & heroes: Let me lay out some numbers so you can fully understand how large Kingdoms Mobile is. 34 heroes, 5 skills each, 4 troop types, 4 equipment slots and 5 crest slots both of which are 100% customizable. Equipment, materials, heroes and crests are colour categorized in order of power from weakest to strongest. Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, once a piece of equipment is refined to blue you can augment it allowing for a random buff to be applied to the item.
All crafting materials with the exception of some blueprints can been found by completing Mirage Trials which for lack of a better term is the campaign in the game. With over 100 items to craft and many crests to obtain you will be kept busy for months.

Combat Stats: All rather self explanatory; health points, attack, attack rate, defence, dodge chance, critical strike chance, critical strike damage, troop speed, troop type, troop class, hero troop capacity, damage RED (Reduces Enemy Damage). All of these can be enhanced by increasing your heroes level, upgrading/refining equipment, SH buffs, self and guild research. The culmination of these stats are measured in "Might" and generally the person with the strongest troop might wins, but not always. So plan out your heroes before combat to maximize their stats and skills. Difference between troop type and class; range, flying and meele are troop types. Griffin Riders and Dwarf Planes are both flying types but 2 different classes due to stat differentials.

Combat System: I should have made his clear before but, your hero and troops are 2 different things. Imagine your hero is the commander of the army and troops are his/her soldiers.
Now that's clear, let's continue. Kingdoms Mobile combat operates like many other card based RTS games, heroes line up and buffs are applied. After that skills are used, an example is Dragoon buffs his attack by a % and always attacks first. Everyone attacks and that is considered 1 round, with a maximum of 5 rounds. When you attack you can sustain losses and wounded, you can heal the wounded but the losses are dust in the wind. If you defend you can only have troops wounded, all the stats listed above are calculated into who wins the battle. Flying heroes & troops can only be attacked by certain troop types.
Rally attacks are common with guild mates, they can also garrison heroes in your base to help defend. When defending your own castle heroes can be set to automatically fill with troops and fight. Any hero with less then 10% troops cannot be used to attack.

Pay to Win?: I would have to answer this no. The majority of in-game purchases are $1.99 to $13.99 USD with some whale packages available. A side note to include prices do change based off of your location. (There are rumours some players have been able to abuse this feature and messages of hackers but I'll discuss the latter of the two in a different post.)
The direct impact of the cheaper packages is noticeable but you will not be crippled if you do not spend money. I have 2 main accounts one where I spent $50 and one where I did not spend a dime and the difference is minimal. The whale option gives players quick access to Orange heroes which get difficult to fight against in the early life of the world but by 20-40 days in guilds are banded together and you don't notice it.

Segway to the Kingdoms Mobile community!
The one thing that can literally make or break a game regardless of how good it is; has to be the player basis. Passionate, dedicated and smart gamers are in no short supply. Filled with a lot of adults world chat is not the place for children many times. Always can you find a group of players you relate with and can join their guild. I have had gotten several answers to help write this review from my BLD guild mates and players from World Chat. Most spoken languages in no particular order are Vietnamese, Russian, Spanish and English.

Community: 9.5/10
Balance: 8/10
Entertainment Value: 9/10
Overall: 26.5/30

I hope to see you online in Kingdom Wars. Overall rating at bottom of post.

Summarized Review: Kingdoms Mobile is a castle building, conquest RTS. There are multiple worlds and in each world it is split up into provinces controlled by a stronghold. Every few days players in the world fight to control as many strongholds as possible to receive rewards such as buffs, materials and in game currency. Free to play with affordable in game purchases that are rather balanced. Meaning you can play this game and still compete in the top leaderboards without spending a dime. The community for the most part is strong, active, helpful and friendly. Finding a guild and getting tips has yet to be a problem. I wouldn't recommend Kingdoms Mobile to players that are new to this style of game. The amount of heroes, customization and quests can be overwhelming to new players, especially with how much directly impacts your performance in game. So if you think your good, download Kingdoms Mobile on iOS or Android and test your skills! Also supports world vs world combat along with the territorial wars, migration to each world is allowed.
