W.I.P for D.i.A
Progress ?
Though the official announcements for "Death in Absentia" will be handled by the @v_entertainment account I wanted to share a few progress shots. Above is one of my attempts at "finding" the heroine that we play as in the game. Everything is meant to have a simple "stop motion" look. These all lack texturing at the moment.
Our goal is to create a Tim Burton inspired look to the characters, and though I like the look of the first character these three have a much more exaggerated look that is more common for the genre. I don't like any of them for the main character but find a way to split the difference might be the way to go.
Along with the characters, I've started working with has been done with the primary location for the game. This of course will change to fit the story line as it progresses.
Next up I'll begin working on the clothing and some of the finer points of the interface. For more about the project check out @v-entertainment and its posts on the subject. Thoughts and comments are always welcome.
Whoa you're making a game? Awesome! Not a lot of games uses Tim Burton style, so it's a good decision for you, I guess. Those 3 characters you made look Tim Burtony already, I like them.
My Blender learning is a step towards game development as well, and I'm still far away from that, still perfecting my sculpting.

Thanks! I've been impressed with your work so far. I must admit I've yet to try my hand at sculpting. But none of my contract work or personal work has needed it. At some point it will be needed I'm sure.
