Smart Gadgets can make you handicapped

At my Airbnb, last week I had a all boys group who had rented my Villa, and god knows what they did with the T.Vyremote, after they left it's not been working. I have a Samsung Smart TV., this is the new type of remote which can be charged with Solar or USB cord. Both the charging methods are not working and because of which now there is a problem watching T.V. My yesterday's group were pissed off, they had issues watching T.V. They are not very gadget savvy, just like me. They had real issues, somewhere they were upset, because of this. And I felt it did not leave a good impression on them. If I would had been in their place probably I would have felt the same disappointment.

Since my Villa is in the outskirts of the city to get anything it takes time. Amazon does deliver, but the days are more then usual. I checked in the nearby area shops but this one is not available. I have ordered for a new remote one from Amazon and that will come only after a few days, so till then it's going to be a challenge. There is another way to connect the T.V. with the phone and use the phone as a remote, but then that's a real hassle and not everyone wants to go through the hassle.

As technology advances and gadgets get smart, at the same time so do they get complicated also at times. Gadgets that work on finger prints, voice commands and such ones are all the more complicated. I would never prefer to go in for such ones. This particular remote, I had no choice because now a days all the new TV have these remotes. They are new so not easily available in the market at this point of time.

It looks much simple then the old remotes and yes they are simple to use, but right now it's making my life complicated :-)
