50 Followers! Gentle Werewolf - Scene 3

Episode 1.3
9 INT. SAMANTHA’S LAB OFFICE, SOON THEREAFTER 9
SAMANTHA (late 20s, in a lab coat) sits in front of a
computer. Tom stands behind her, looking over her shoulder.
It’s a very small space. They watch a video about
Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease on her screen, while a Wikipedia
entry about Hypertrichosis is open next to it. It’s dark.
They’re lit by a desk lamp and the computer screen.
SAMANTHA
Since something zombie....ish
exists, I posit lycanthropy may
also.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 7.
TOM
So it’s possible!
SAMANTHA
As possible as a rhinoceros on the
moon.
TOM
Rhinoceroses on the moon?
SAMANTHA
Just one rhinoceros.
Samantha reaches back and pulls open the blind, letting
light flood in.
SAMANTHA (CONT’D)
You’re not a werewolf, Tom.
10 INT. CHRIS AND JESSE’S APARTMENT, AFTERNOON 10
CHRIS (male, late 20s, super-handsome) is ironing his work
clothes.
CHRIS
At least you don’t have the hiv.
Chris sets the iron aside and hangs up a shirt, then cuddles
up to JESSE (male, late 20s, huge and gentle) on the couch
and looks to Tom, as he sits opposite them.
Silence.
Everybody stares at Chris.
CHRIS (CONT’D)
What?
JESSE
That’s not appropriate, Chris.
CHRIS
I’m just saying, if you had HIV,
you couldn’t have sex anymore.
JESSE
I... think you have a basic
misunderstanding of HIV.
CHRIS
If you’re a vampire-
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 8.
TOM
Werewolf.
CHRIS
If you’re a werewolf, then you only
have to worry about it once a
month, but the hiv is forever, Tom.
JESSE
Just stop.
CHRIS
Fine. It’s like you’re a woman now.
JESSE
Chris’ sexism aside, Tom, it’s
highly unlikely that you have a
disease that turns you into a
monster.
11 EXT. MOON IN SKY 11
We see a full moon as ominous music plays.
