The Funny Side
Steemit has problems for more than 2 weeks and the problems seems hard to be resolved!
A tip for the people that working hard to fix the platform and resolve the problems!
... and something for the rest of us that trying to keep steeming!
Two things can happen from now on ... Steemit to be fixed and everything to return back to normal, or not fixed. And for the reason that fun is necessary for healing and good health ... no worries - have fun and everything will be okay.

It's really becoming a terrible platform full of bots and downtime.
wowow easy man bots are not absolutely evil :)
I believe that is temporary and problems will be resolved soon. Steemit is very good as idea and technicallay is not that hard to become stable again. Just needs some time - Everything will be fine :)
Dan Larimer left to go work full time on EOS, maybe the guys now are having more problems lol, I just hope everything goes back to normal and we can Steem without problems!

I agree that we should keep our sense of humor, but lately its been frustrating. Some of us have work to do and cant spend all day trying to get a post up. And for the bots, there are far too many, and a lot of the posts getting money are due to bots and not because its quality content.
Yes its been frustrating for everybody. In cases like this, that we can not do anything, its better to minimize the use of the platform instead of trying all day.
Voting bots were great helpers in my first days on steemit some months ago that were giving 2,5X or 3X votes. It was the only way for the majority of the minnows to get some value in their posts. Now the most of them does not give back in votes even the money you are paying. In fact you get nothing from the most bots now - just the money you pay and a little bit more in the best case. Its a profitable business only for their owners.
I continue using them because there is no other way to increase the SBD value of the posts even if i know that they just grab your SBDs for nothing - needs action here from the community for this to be corrected. So whatever SBDs i collect from the rewards i spend them, to upvote my posts. :)
For example in this post i have spend 5.775 SBDs so far and the total post value is $8.95 right now. This means that i got a return from the voting bots something near $7.50 . The 25% goes to the curators (that usually are the bots ) which means that remains $7.50 -$1.875 = $5.625 that is less than what i gave.
bots do not give you anything for free, they give you the opportunity to effectively invest in making your post more visible. so why they are worse than people who vote for what they deem necessary with large amounts of money in their accounts?
What's wrong with Steemit. why is it down so much lately?
DDoS attacks mentioned the previous weeks.
