ScholarsPH Blog #25: Catching up with Kinit and Welcoming our New Admin Members
Kinit, a.k.a. @ligarayk on Steemit, has got only a week and half left for his first semester. Tons of projects have kept him extremely busy for the past few weeks. We all know he's been acing all his projects from the last update, but the upcoming finals exam next week would be a huge challenge for him. We advised him to keep at it and give sufficient time to review for his exams.
Kinit is very grateful for your support.
With the stipends, he was able to buy supplies used for his numerous school projects. A portion of the allowance was also previously used to pay for some of his tuition fee. The @scholarsph program, powered by your support, has enabled him to better focus on his studies and get quality tools for his school craft.
Speaking of his craftwork, here's his latest piece of art:

Kinit's Commission Work
While Kinit is unable to acquire a regular part-time work due to his hectic school schedule, he tries to earn extra funds by doing art commissions whenever the opportunity arises. One of his recent paid commission work is for a mural painting for his previous school.
Bamboo mural painting for a section in the library
It's actually not the first paid mural painting he did. He has got other works for the same client that were completed a few months ago. Both of which were posted on Steemit and garnered decent upvotes and post rewards.

Welcoming Our New Teammates
We'd like to welcome two new admin members: @valerieable (@valerie15) and @romeskie.
They'll be now joining @tpkidkai, @chinitacharmer and @jazzhero in facilitating @scholarsph operations, especially in terms of posting to keep everyone updated about the program and its students.
The massive plunge in Steem prices considerably lessened our funding potential, but the whole team stays optimistic and committed to supporting these students for the remainder of the school year.
Our Current Sponsored Students
Thank you for supporting the @scholarsph program. As of December, 5 months after its launch, we're already supporting seven very deserving students.
