SWIM Project - Fifth Update | Proyecto SWIM - Quinta Actualización
Greetings and blessings for all the readers we have today! I'm too excited because every week of mentoring we are doing it much better and more people are joining us, besides we are seeing people inside our server improving their content thanks to all the guides that we have created for them.
Second Mentoring Week
The second week of mentoring was quite good in attendance, unfortunately we couldn't finish it with total success motivated by internet issues, but the work is still the same, the love and motivation to help as well.
This screenshot was taken on Monday, October 15, we continued with the Markdown lessons given on Friday, October 12th. That day, in addition to Markdown's mentoring, a special class was given by our beloved Visual Arts mentor @juandvg, who taught those who participated in mentoring about Design to improve the visual aspect of your publications, was giving several tips and tricks to improve the visual quality of the posts.

This screenshot is from the mentoring of the day Wednesday, October 17 , that day we mentored the lesson number 2 of the topic of How to swim in Steemit?, giving a class clearly dedicated to the topic of content curation, we had the most participants up to the moments in a mentoring (12 people).
It was a super fun class in which we talked about big projects of the platform like @curie, @utopian-io, @promo-steem and what they are dedicated to in the topic of curation of content within the platform, all from the hand of our curation mentor @elfranz, we also had very good guests as a Curie super curator like @gabyoraa and Miss @aidarojaswriter from the moderation team of the Hispanic @la-colmena healing project.
We also talked about the healing criteria of the project @la-colmena so that our beloved students could begin to base their vision to create content in these criteria in order to be rewarded in the best way for their publications.

Server Status
We currently reach 50 swimmers on the server! Every week we are growing and looking for new authors within the platform, this week we caught several of them such as: @exoelias, @angelik-a, @arar5 , @dredijinx and we keep adding new authors every day to teach them the best practices to succeed on the platform.
How do we contact them?
Easy, the entire SWIM team makes invitations to new authors who get on the platform by checking the introduceyourself tag daily. We are in the mission to invite 4-5 people a day to the server and expect them to read the commentary and we'll keep on every day in search of more and more prospects to new quality content creators.
Support received for the project (updated)
This week I'm very happy to announce two incredible things, one is a project that adds to the support projects of our beloved community and the other is the fact that we've received our first donations for the project, so let's start talking in detail:
1.- Increase in support projects
As we know, we are currently supported by many quality Hispanic projects such as @castellano, @elarca, @celfmagazine, @engranaje, @la-colmena and English-speaking projects such as witness @helpie. Every day we continue to look for more support and today I can proudly announce that we have a new one within our support projects:
"RutaBlockchain" Community (@rutablockchain)
The RutaBlockchain is a diffusion project of the world of cryptocurrencies, they carry out an education work about this world and all its variants, so they not only dedicate themselves to the diffusion of the STEEM Blockchain but they are dedicated to the diffusion of the Blockchain world in general.
In addition, this work is carried out not only at the online level, they also hold interesting talks and conferences in Venezuela, an example of which can be found in this publication - -> Conferencia: "20 Formas de Ganar en Criptomonedas" por @rutablockchain
I met a couple of people in charge of this project (@danielvehe and @enmy) and I really have to admit that it was a great day and a very nice talk (thanks to an initiative of they authorship entitled "De tú a tú (person to person)) where we met as people and as steemians, we talked about the evolution of the Hispanic community of Steemit and the steps to follow in the future to consolidate good partnerships and seek the common good of the communities and projects that have the correct objectives within the platform.
2.- Donations received for the project
As you know, at the end of each publication made from the project account @swimproject we ask the people to support the project as they can, either with delegations, feedback and donations. In this third sense we have received a lot of love.
We received two excellent donations, one from @lenancie (@curie curator prospective) and another from @llfarms (@curie curator and mentor).
The first one was a selfless donation from the prospective curator called @lenancie, I have a lot of contact with her and I've talked to her many times about the project, she has always supported me sending the post mede for the project to be voted by friends of her, and a few days ago she decided to make a super contribution by herself, so I received a notification in Discord from @ginabot saying that we received a total of 10 SBD from this young lady, we couldn't believe that, and now in the name of the entire SWIM project we thank you for such an incredible contribution.
On the other hand, Miss @llfarms decided to contribute a donation to the project with an incredible weight. It turns out that the account @swimproject for being new had very few RC (Resource Credits), this resulted in the fact that we couldn't post often or comment often with the account, so that project planning would be greatly affected by this issue.
Reading the platform I came across the following post ---> 100 SP Delegation Giveaway - 1000 SP to 10 Redfish Or Minnows + 500 for another 5 from @LLFarms !!!, in which the Witness @markangeltrueman and the Curie curator @llfarms offered 100SP of delegation for active users who needed it and were going to make interesting contributions to the platform with it.
So I decided to participate by placing the project account (@swimproject) as a case of problem to be analyzed with respect to the RC issue and a few days later, the results came out in this post ---> 1500 SP Delegation Giveaway with @LLFarms - The Results and they approved the delegation! It was too epic to be taken into account, but after this something strange happened.
In the project wallet we received the notification that @llfarms actually "sent" us 100SP, it seemed strange because when you receive a delegation you get the notification that you have been "delegated" and not that you're receiving a "sent" SP, so I decided to contact @llfarms via Discord to tell her about what happened and to ask her if she had sent me this SP, she told me that it was a mistake and that she should delegate and not send those SP, and I told her I was going to give them back in some way because it didn't seem fair for me to lose 100SP (it's too much).
I started asking her how to return those SPs and after a while she told me to take those 100SP as a gift for the growth of the project. So that accident became a HUGE donation from that young lady who has a giant heart and love for this platform like no other, for that reason on behalf of the SWIM project we want to thank her very much for all this love and support towards the project. Thank you very much @llfarms!
Next steps
Every weekend I try to meet as much as I can with my team to discuss new strategies for the project, because every week we want to reach more users and continue to provide our great mentoring so that each person we can have the happiness of having inside grows. of our community.
For that reason we have thought about several initiatives that will come soon and we are also developing the following:
Mentoring Schedule: This week we'll start with personalized mentoring so we need to create a time frame for each mentor. This schedule will be broadcast every day so that our students are aware.
First community contest: It's time to start motivating and encouraging the work of our students, so we are going to develop a contest that helps people to know and put in place very well test their skills by the end of our project at the learning level.
We are faithfully committed to the growth of all the people who live within the project and the projects in common that are part of our students lives, because their work complements ours and so, as a large community we can go forward and evolve to ensure success.

¡Saludos y bendiciones para todos los lectores que tenemos el día de hoy! Estoy demasiado emocionado porque cada semana de mentoría estamos haciéndolo mucho mejor y se nos están uniendo más personas, además de que estamos viendo personas dentro de nuestro servidor mejorando su contenido gracias a todas las guías que hemos creado para ellos.
Segunda Semana de mentoría
La segunda semana de mentoría fue bastante buena en asistencia, lamentablemente no pudimos culminarla con total éxito motivado a fallas de internet, pero el trabajo sigue siendo el mismo, el cariño y la motivación para ayudar también.
Este screenshot fue tomado el día Lunes 15 de Octubre en el que continuamos con las lecciones de Markdown dadas el día Viernes 12 de Octubre. Ese día además de la mentoría de Markdown se dio una clase especial de la mano de nuestro querido mentor de Artes Visuales @juandvg el cual le enseñó a los que participaron en la mentoría sobre Diseño para mejorar el aspecto visual de tus publicaciones, estuvo dando varios consejos y trucos para mejorar la calidad visual de las publicaciones.

Este screenshot es de la mentoría del día Miércoles 17 de Octubre, ese día realizamos la mentoría de la lección número 2 del tópico de ¿Cómo nadar en Steemit?, dando una clase netamente dedicada al tema de la curación de contenido, tuvimos la mayor cantidad de participantes hasta los momentos en una mentoría (12 personas).
Fue una clase súper divertida en la que hablamos sobre proyectos grandes de la plataforma como @curie, @utopian-io, @promo-steem y a qué se dedican dentro del tema de la curación de contenido dentro de la plataforma, todo de la mano de nuestro mentor de curación @elfranz, además tuvimos muy buenos invitados como una súper curadora de Curie como lo es @gabyoraa y la señorita @aidarojaswriter del equipo de moderación del proyecto de curación hispano @la-colmena.
También hablamos sobre los criterios de curación del proyecto @la-colmena para que nuestros queridos estudiantes comenzaran a basar su visión para crear contenido en estos criterios para poder ser recompensados de la mejor manera por sus publicaciones.

Estado del Servidor
¡Actualmente alcanzamos las 50 personas en el servidor!, cada semana estamos creciendo y buscando nuevos autores dentro de la plataforma, esta semana captamos varios de ellos tales como: @exoelias, @angelik-a, @arar5, @dredijinx y seguimos sumando nuevos autores cada día para enseñarles las mejores prácticas para tener éxito en la plataforma.
¿Cómo los contactamos?
Simple, todo el equipo de SWIM realiza invitaciones hacia los nuevos autores que se consigan en la plataforma por medio de chequear diariamente la etiqueta introduceyourself. Estamos en la misión de invitar entre 4-5 personas diarias al servidor y esperar que lean el comentario y así nos mantendremos cada día en la búsqueda de más y más prospectos a nuevos creadores de contenido de calidad.
Apoyo recibido para el proyecto (actualizado)
Esta semana estoy muy feliz de anunciar dos cosas increíbles, una es un proyecto que se suma a los proyectos de apoyo de nuestro querida comunidad y la otra es que hemos recibido nuestras primeras donaciones para el proyecto, así que comencemos a hablar con detalles al respecto:
1.- Aumento en los proyectos de apoyo
Como ya sabemos, actualmente nos apoyan muchísimos proyectos hispanos de calidad tales como @castellano, @elarca, @celfmagazine, @engranaje, @la-colmena y proyectos anglosajones como el witness @helpie. Cada día seguimos en la búsqueda de más apoyo y hoy puedo anunciar orgullosamente que se une a nuestros proyectos de apoyo la comunidad de:
Comunidad "RutaBlockchain" (@rutablockchain)
La RutaBlockchain es un proyecto de difusión del mundo de las criptomonedas, realizan un trabajo de educación sobre este mundo y todas sus variantes, es decir, no solo se dedican a la difusión del esquema de la STEEM Blockchain sino que se dedican a la difusión del mundo de la Blockchain en general.
Además, este trabajo lo realizan no solo a nivel online, pues además de eso realizan charlas y conferencias en Venezuela bastante interesantes, un ejemplo de estas pueden encontrarla en esta publicación ----> Conferencia: "20 Formas de Ganar en Criptomonedas" por @rutablockchain
Conocí a un par de personas a cargo de este proyecto (@danielvehe y @enmy) y verdaderamente debo admitir que fue un día magnífico y una charla muy amena (gracias a una iniciativa de su autoría titulada "De tú a tú") en la que nos conocimos como personas y como steemians, hablamos sobre la evolución de la comunidad Hispana de Steemit y los pasos a seguir a futuro para consolidar buenas alianzas y buscar el bien común de las comunidades y proyectos que tienen los objetivos correctos dentro de la plataforma.
2.- Donaciones recibidas para el proyecto
Como sabrán, al final de cada publicación hecha desde la cuenta del proyecto @swimproject pedimos que las personas que así lo deseen apoyen el proyecto como puedan, ya sea con delegaciones, feedback y donaciones. En este tercer sentido hemos recibido muchísimo amor.
En este sentido recibimos dos excelentes donaciones, una de parte de @lenancie (curadora prospecto de @curie) y otra de parte de @llfarms (curadora y mentora de @curie).
La primera fue una donación desinteresada de la curadora prospecto llamada @lenancie, yo tengo mucho contacto con ella y le he hablado muchas veces del proyecto, siempre me ha apoyado enviando los post del proyecto a ser votados por amigos de ella, y hace unos días decidió ella misma hacer un súper aporte, por lo que me llegó una notificación en Discord de parte de @ginabot en el que decía que recibí un total de 10 SBD de parte de esta señorita, y verdaderamente en nombre de todo el proyecto SWIM le damos las gracias por tan increíble aporte.
Por otra parte, la señorita @llfarms decidió aportar una donación al proyecto con un peso increíble. Resulta que la cuenta @swimproject por ser nueva tenía muy pocos RC (Créditos de Recurso), esto daba como consecuencia el hecho de que no se pudiera postear tan seguido o comentar tan seguido con la cuenta, por lo que la planificación del proyecto se vería muy afectada por ello.
Leyendo por la plataforma me topé con el siguiente post ---> 100 SP Delegation Giveaway - 1000 SP to 10 Redfish Or Minnows + 500 for another 5 from @LLFarms !!!, en el que el Witness @markangeltrueman y la curadora de Curie @llfarms ofrecían 100SP de delegación para usuarios activos que lo necesitaran y fueran a hacer aportes interesantes a la plataforma con ello.
Decidí participar colocando la cuenta del proyecto (@swimproject) como caso de problema a analizar con respecto a los RC y unos días más tarde, salieron los resultados en este post ---> 1500 SP Delegation Giveaway with @LLFarms - The Results y ¡nos aprobaron la delegación! Fue demasiado épico que nos tomaran en cuenta, pero luego de esto sucedió algo extraño.
En la wallet de la cuenta del proyecto recibimos la notificación de que @llfarms nos había "enviado" 100SP, me parecía extraño porque cuando te delegan te sale la notificación de que te están "delegando" y no "enviando" SP, así que decidí contactar por Discord a la señorita @llfarms para contarle sobre lo sucedido y preguntarle que si me había enviado dicho SP, me dijo que fue un error y que debía delegar y no enviar esos SP, y yo le dije que se los iba a devolver de alguna forma porque no me parecía justo que ella perdiera 100SP (es demasiado).
Comencé a preguntarle de qué manera devolverle esos SP y luego de un rato me dijo que tomara esos 100SP como un regalo para el crecimiento del proyecto. Así que ese accidente se volvió una donación ENORME de parte de esa señorita que tiene un corazón gigante y un amor por esta plataforma como nadie, por esa razón de parte del proyecto SWIM queremos agradecerle muchísimo por todo este cariño y apoyo hacia el proyecto. ¡Muchísimas gracias @llfarms!
Próximos pasos a tomar
Cada fin de semana intento reunirme lo más que pueda con mi equipo para discutir sobre nuevas estrategias para el proyecto, pues cada semana queremos alcanzar más usuarios y poder seguir brindando nuestras grandes mentorías para que siga creciendo cada personas que podamos tener la dicha de tener dentro de nuestra comunidad.
Por esa razón tenemos pensadas varias iniciativas que vendrán próximamente y además estamos desarrollando lo siguiente:
Cronograma de mentorías: Esta semana vamos a comenzar con las mentorías personalizadas por lo que necesitamos crear un espacio de tiempo para cada mentor. Este cronograma lo estaremos difundiendo todos los días para que nuestros estudiantes estén al tanto.
Primer concurso de la comunidad: Es hora de comenzar a motivar y a incentivar el trabajo de nuestros estudiantes, por lo que vamos a desarrollar un concurso que ayude a que las personas se den muy bien a conocer y pongan a prueba sus capacidades por el fin de nuestro proyecto a nivel de aprendizaje.
Estamos fielmente comprometidos con el crecimiento de todas las personas que hacen vida dentro del proyecto y de los proyectos en común que son parte de la vida de nuestros estudiantes, pues la labor de ellos complementa la de nosotros y así, como una gran comunidad podremos salir adelante y evolucionar para asegurar el éxito.
