As that was a genuinely charming response, let me give you a piece of advice: after you've been here a while, the comment section of your posts kind of feels like "your" space (you can arrange the comments with upvote levels, etc) so, while I personally dgaf as this is the internet, others might not be so receptive to the flashing gif.

I am still figuring out how best to become visible as "newbie" on Steemit! One can become quite isolated if one waits for the community to "discover" you. So, I've become the boisterous neighbor who crashes down the door and drink the beer in your fridge. Granted some neighbors will move away, but others will stay!
I follow this approach because I truly believe it has value;
I Finally, get to meet the people that have been following me for 2 months - who never visit my post.
I could potentially shift out the dead weight.
My post, becomes the catalyst for debate and discussion, such as we doing right now.
I come across some accounts who hasn't seen a comment for days , except my "mirror ball", lol !
See, that comment right there? The one you just posted? THAT'S what gets you noticed, and that's what gonna get you my upvote and follow. Steem needs substance, and yeah it can go unrecognized, but sometimes it doesnt, and for some lucky few one whale taking a shining to them is all they need.
