Veggie soup with mushroom dumplings
Hello and welcome to my fruitsandveggiesmonday entry with @lenasveganliving and @plantstoplanks, I made a veggie soup and thought it would be pretty cool to have some dumplings with it and awesome with the dumplings stuffed with mushrooms, so that is what I done.
Ingredients for soup
With salt, pepper, smoked paprika, allspice, coriander, turmeric and mixed Italian herbs. That all went into my giant German pressure cooker while I was making dough.
I made a dough with wholemeal wheat and left it to rise.
While the dough was doing it's thing I sautéed some onions with garlic and mushrooms.
Then I stuffed the mushrooms in the dough and Dumped them in the soup.

Wow, that does look delicious! I don't care that it's 90+ degrees Fahrenheit here, that would totally hit the spot for a comforting lunch or dinner! Love the mushroom stuffing in the dumplings. A nice treat when you crack them open and soak up all that yummy soup broth.

Thanks @lizelle, glad you like it, I have been eating a lot of summer like food and felt like a change, It isn't very warm here anyway, summer here is like Durban winter, and I wish I was over exaggerating.
