Day 13 - Selfie Freewrite Celebration Contest - Describe Green!
Military Green
Reveille, shined black shoes, no elbows on the table. Make your bed to let a quarter bounce off of it, dad screamed in his military green. "Hooah" as the Joes would scream, even at our overnight rooftop parties.
Women from all cultures coming by to feel the energy of military men. Everyone wanted to go home with an Am-e-ri-can. Flight across the international line, walking on the black sands of Hawaii to wake up trying on a kimono. Life was never boring.
Dogs hanging from the butcher, old women squatting in the streets to use the bathroom. Dirty faced children running down the lane with bloated bellies, nightfall came fast with a 10 p.m. curfew. Planes flying overhead. Bombs going off in the distance.
Bathing on the patio watching the sky as the red sun touched the horizon. Mother taught English to the very wealthy. Limousines and helicopter rides, special gifts wrapped in pastel paper.
Beat feet as dad would say, time to go. Wearing his Sargent's MP uniform, the comforting sight of military green.

Okay this was a BIG WOW for me when i read it, in only that one of the healing Chiefs I work with soeaks of this prophecy all the time. he has an “eagle” tree as he calls it and saw the eagle and condor sitting on that tree not long ago! the things he does is amazing work and ive been assisting. thus, my training. blesings to you for this powerful message.
