A sacred meeting

He knew he had to stay very still while he waited for the pain to pass: "He's not moving," he thought, he tried to move his leg, but a cry of pain bounced off the mountain walls, amplified by a hoarse, frightened lonely echo.

The night before Christmas, decided to take this excursion, it was an extreme challenge he had set himself, as a farewell to this turbulent year. This time he would complete his entry into the most extreme world, he would go alone, he had known the terrain since childhood, because he was going with his father there, so there wasn't so much exposure.

He went out after lunch, he had a tour ahead of him for a few hours, although the crest of "his" mountain could be seen from his house, so if he wanted to see the sunset up there, he had to go out now as he also had to assemble his camping equipment and prepare his dinner in the light of the stars.

The most spectacular view he could imagine was there, and his spirit demanded it, as well as it demanded solitude, encounter, joy with himself.

Now, he had to concentrate on relaxing and not having a bad time as it seemed. He was already upstairs, settled in. He had already administered an antiserum, always prepared for any eventuality, but this time he was surprised by something he did not see, and certainly something quite toxic, as he acted quite quickly. He began to feel better. The leg is less numb.

"Damn it, it just happens to me and Daffy Duck! So many times coming to this place without any mishaps and today I'm all alone..." - At that time, loneliness was a handicap, which he didn't see when he planned that reunion between nature, his inner wolf and his ancestors.

"This is a story to tell my children, when I have them. For today, I can only hope that the Christmas star will shine brighter, so that I can feel that it was not unreasonable to come and share this moment with the sky, instead of being with my family". But, in short, what I came for: I breathe, I breathe, I breathe... I give myself to the Higher Power that inhabits me, I am one with the Universe... I am at peace and I give thanks for this wonderful moment of meeting with me and with you: Merry Christmas, Dad!"

A tear of emotion ran down of his face, he sheltered himself better and contemplating the sky, little by little he fell asleep and no longer felt anything that disturbed the essence of that sacred moment.
