Disappearing numbers on my remote

As you can tell by my remote, we watch alotta TV. Most of the numbers on our remote have disappeared, due to over usage.
We record most of the shows, then fast-forward through the commercials. That turns a one hour show, to about a 40 minute show. It's amazing how many advertising minutes we are expected to watch daily, during our television watching.
This is the worse time of the year to watch TV. The new season started last Monday and the political season is wrapping up in November. Every third commercial is political, so there is a whole lotta fast forwarding happening at my house.
I don't choose my candidates by watching commercials, I actually found that research is needed to sift through the lies that are embedded in political commercials.
Vote this November! and bring your remote to shut the lies off.
