I was going to write about filthy porn, but I figured I couldn't do anything about it, so I'm writing about littering again. Nathan Mars is cleaning up the planet one cigarette butt at a time, so I'm going to continue picking up trash whenever I see it on the streets or parking lots. For some reason people fill their ice chests in the parking lots, then leave the trash in the grocery carts. What has our world become that people think everybody can clean up behind them. This total lack of respect is really starting to piss me off. First the lady throwing the lit cigarette butt out her car window and today I watched a truck speeding down the highway with shredded paper flying out of his truck bed. I couldn't get close enough to get a license plate, but I know he knew it was happening. Now I have to see this filth on the highway everytime I go to Debbie's. Sure it will be picked up by the highway crews, but how long will that take. I hate litterbugs! 😾

It seems to me like more and more people don't care about keeping this world clean. It's easier for them to toss their trash out the window and what now. They don't like the idea of holding on to it so that you can throw it away in the trash, where it belongs. It sucks that things have come to this... :/

I've never really understood it myself. I live in Oregon, one of the greenest states in the west, and yet, people find it necessary to dump stuff on the side of the road, or down a trail, or wherever.
I don't know if this is true or not, but it seems to me that it has something to do with a lack of respect of anything that's not your own, like property, and in some cases, it's just a plain lack of respect, even for oneself.
It's like the whole world is their garbage can. If they can pack it in, surely, they can pack it out.
I think this was a good choice of the word. Better than your first thought. :)
I am not sure also why people don't care about cleanliness anymore but I do know if Uncle Bruni wears this flowery shirt and clean on the streets, you will get attention and you will have followers. Hehe.
I hate litterbugs, too! Almost all of my Clean Planet walks include a parking lot that has A DUMPSTER RIGHT THERE AT THE END OF IT. I'm like, come on people, you can't walk ten yards?? >:/
I agree that it is a lack of respect. Period. I am pretty sure they didn't grow up with their parents telling them they could leave their trash behind, however, I am not so sure they didn't learn by seeing this.
Whatever it is/was - it is not too late to learn new habits. Clean up after yourself, people. It is such a disgusting habit, this jitterbugging.
