RE: Day 514: 5 Minute Freewrite: Monday - Prompt: control (or lack thereof)

Oh boy! Jerry, you are really suffering as bone to bone is the most excruciating pain. Mine was the left knee and at first a doctor injected stuff that were touted as a liquid cartilage in between the two bones. The needle was as thick as a knitting needle and my wife almost fainted.
Of course it didn't work even at the price of a new car and then I went to see a knee specialist who said that the bones needed to be trimmed. He performed an orthoscopy on the knee and this was done about 11 years ago. Only now the pain is starting again.

It is amazing what progress they have made with hip replacements and you will soon be as good as new.
I hope it gets done soon my friend!
All blessings to you!

Thank you Stephen, the first thing they wanted to do with me was a
Cortisone injection, but I am a CNA, I know that Cortisone is only a
Stopgap, that it help preserve the remaining cartilage, but I HAD
None to preserve, so I skipped that painful procedure.
I just made this post right now, because you made me realize I had
Forgotten to do it last week.
Just for you cuz.
