Making The Change (5 minute Freewrite)
Prompt: The Bowl
I love freewrite because you see a prompt then start a story. The plot changes as you go along.
Each story has its own theme and style.
What was originally here was Part 6 of the Toothache story. If I'm honest, I really did not enjoy the writing of it and it lacks mojo. It wouldn't even call it a freewrite.
It was like listening to an overproduced Sex Pistols song.
Even if I woke up the next morning and it got lots of praise, I still would not like it. Just because I didn't like writing it.
I think it ruins the saga. I think Part 5 should be the end.
So, we make a change.
In the last 3 weeks I have been in a very difficult situation which could not continue. I asked for resolution and it arrived. Thank you.
A relief, a big relief. Perhaps the situation helped to create some weird, dark and funny freewrite tales.
I enjoyed writing them all. Beautiful moments.
They will continue, they always will, come rain or shine, there will be a 5 minute freewrite. But they will all have one thing in common.
They will have mojo. I don't ever want to kill the magic.
The original story is stored in a vault.
No more toothache. It is time for a change.
I never used the prompt in this rewrite. The bowl disappeared and a new dawn arose.
It is a beautiful thing.
“You know when a song is good or a load of shit. So if you want a good song, be prepared to rewrite it.”

@originalworks
So, you are done with the toothache. It was pretty funny how you twirled around it. :)
I usually go back and polish the freewrite, but this got edited too much and it lost its original mojo. It was ruining the mystery of the original trilogy.
What all the sequels have in common is that they were decided as I was started writing, but part 6 was far too calculated. I didn't enjoy the write for the first time in ages.
I'm glad for part 4 and 5 because they have their own original stories.
The great thing about freewrite is that I don't know what tonight's story will be like until I start to write. Crazy, funny, romantic, serious or grounded.
I know I always look forward to around 8pm, UAE time. :-)
Hey, the best writers admit when they are no longer interested in work. Better off spending your time on things you want to do :).
The writing will never stop. Maybe the style, but that's the nature of life. :-)
@mr-neil, “You know when a song is good or a load of shit. So if you want a good song, be prepared to rewrite it.” - try to do this on nowadays hip hop / pop songs, good luck haha!
Good work here, I'll be coming back. All the best, @keyss.
Hahaha, thank you :-)
Ahhhh... someone else who has these same type of writing experiences as I do! You're not alone, I do it too!!!
Also, I am visiting all of the freewriters who commented yesterday to help @mariannewest so here is the prompt for today!
