Mr X And The Gift From The Men In Black (Freewrite Story)

I have decided to revive the story of Mr X. This is the story about a man forced into a new life. He is a good man but has not always made the best choices.
That said, three years on the witness protection program has changed him and he is enjoying his new lifestyle, a lot. His biggest worry is being told that it is all over.

Part 6: Mr X And The Gift From The Men In Black
A nice quiet Sunday morning, Mr X is reading his newspaper with some proper filter coffee. Nice and strong.
He comes to the horoscope. What does the world have in store for the people whose star sign is Cancer? ♋ Hopefully something fun;
You will receive an unexpected gift from a mysterious source.
That would be nice if it was true. But it was the next sentence that really made Me X sit up straight.
You will have a nice day playing some of your old vinyl records with your neighbour.
“That is weird, because that is actually the plan for today. To play records.”
Only, they weren't his records that they would play. His were tied up with his old life. He would have to listen to the records of Mr Jones.
He knocked on the door of Mr Jones at midday. This would give him a chance to meet his wife and child. Then there would be dinner before the two men would explore the record collection.
“I've got a surprise for you. Close your eyes,” said Mr Jones.
Mr X closed them. Mr and Mrs Jones guided him to the place that they wanted him to go.
“You can open them now.”
Mr X opened his eyes and was given the greatest surprise that he could ever hope for.
“Wow, my old vinyl collection. Where did you get that from?”
“Three men in black suits brought them over yesterday. They also said that you should have expected it. They sent a message.”
“Message?” asked Mr X. “I don't remember receiving a message.”
“They said if your star sign was Cancer, then you should have received the message.”

What an awesome surprise! I miss my old record collection. This sparks memories.
Like many people, I got rid of mine. In 2014 I bought a new player and then went around charity shops to collect again. It was fun. I also found that most towns have a record store now.
