"Surprise coming to you!"

Shouts the screen from every corner of infinity. Telling Georgina something she's always known. She's always expected a surprise. It could come in the form of something good or bad. Probably bad, because that was what surprises from the universe usually were. Surprises from humans were usually good, but from the universe, you wanted predictability. You want trees to stay rooted in the ground and not to surprise you by crashing into your car. You wanted the Earth to continue in its predictable orbit and not surprise you by abruptly changing course. So when the universe had a surprise for you, something you expect, it garners more apprehension than glee.

Nonetheless Georgina couldn't resist smirking at the other passengers in the trolley. Come Hell or Heaven, something special was coming to her. She would be notable for whatever surprise this was.

And then the trolley stopped and the no-faced men boarded. They came to her and ignored the others. The others ignored them, too. Everyone seemed to know this was going on. It was a surprise only to Georgina.
