Snook & The We-All-Write: The Full Moon

Meet Snook

Since most of you are freewriters, I am pretty sure that you know @snook. She was one of the first who joined the freewriters and very quickly became a friend and a supporter of just about everyone.

In the beginning, @snook would just deliver her freewrite like everyone else and then quietly (or rather laughing loudly) go on her merry way to read and comment on the other writers work.

One morning, I woke up to a message from Snook: "Check this out."

What I found was a video of her reading one of the stories she had written, and she had managed to persuade a fellow freewriter and artist @fireawaymarmot, to deliver several drawings illustrating her story!!

And that is how it all began!!

Snook's creativity and fun ideas kept coming!!

A week before the celebration of the 100 Day anniversary of the Daily Prompt, she came up with the idea of the We-Write. We talked about it and she and Brisby got together and tried out different ways of managing the logistics of such a thing.

Instructions were written up and we gave 3 options of doing the We-Write.

The gist of the We-Write is that one person starts and another finishes a story.

The Day 100 Celebration was a smashing success!!!

The We-All-Write

Around that time, a group of us had started to explore that idea of creating this account - the Freewrite House @freewritehouse.

Did I mention that Snook is super creative?

At about that time, she introduced us to Carl.

And she came up with an idea she wanted to gift to the Freewrite House.

One fine day, she put up a little post, introducing the We-All-Write and without thinking it through, promised to make the finished We-All-Write into a movie.

She probably thought that maybe 3 or 4 people would take her up on it. Oh, how wrong was she!!!

Twenty-one writers!! Yes, 21 took her up on the challenge! That is a lot of people!!! And that is a long movie to be made.

So, it took a little while. And it required for Carl to step in!

One more thing.

Our beautiful Snook made a promise to never again promise to make a movie out of a We-All-Write. I am working on Carl right now to persuade her to change her mind, but for now, her mind is made up.

That is where you all come in. Maybe one of you will be ready to do the next We-All-Write Movie when the time comes.
