A nationwide contest! 5 minute Freewrite

For Frank, the days went by with a lot of activity, he had achieved the recognition of the restaurant's clientele since the news of his skills as a cook had spread.

Soon personalities from the media and politicians approached the restaurant. Once they finished eating the dishes, they asked him to come to their tables to greet him and thank him for his work.

Frank realized that his employment in that fancy restaurant opens a lot of doors. Something he had not thought about six months ago when he worked for the solid waste collection company where he only interacted with the city's garbage.

By that time the restaurant administration received a communication indicating the opening of a nationwide contest for the best chef. They immediately informed Frank who agreed to prepare for it, so they entered the contest.

This was one of the opportunities Frank expected since this would project his name nationwide next to the best chefs in the country.
