Bubbling - Layers of Life
I sit with my feet in the river as the world passes me by.
Tiny bubbles come to the surface each time I toss a piece of cracker at the water. A whole realm of fish exists outside of my field of vision, but they will meet me halfway to get food.
The air is still and its scent is earthy. It rained last night; the dirt smell rises as the moisture returns to the clouds. Green leaves shine gold in the sunlight and a man on the other side of the river holds a fishing pole.
I can't help but laugh as I continue to feed the invisible fish that someone else wants to have for his dinner.
