We Keep In Touch But Our Focuses Are Very Different - #FreeWrite Prompt Of The Day “Confirm”
When we are apart often there is a need to confirm our well being with each other. Mel and I often check in with each other such as this morning.
Mel is in our home town Port Alberni getting our summer tires from storage put on the Suzuki, we are late to do it this year. We get a wicked deal through the one shop GD Auto making the drive a worth while excuse to visit twice a year, this time I’m working SkipTheDishes.
So last night we checked in and said goodnight. She told me about the restaurant she wanted to go to being closed and I informed her about our landlords putting the house up for sale. We hope that the new owners will keep us as tenants!
Then again this morning when she sent me a picture, the one above, while waiting for the car. She informed me of the day old donuts she was eating and I mentioned that I’ll be home from 1-4 and will start doing cleaning for a viewing on Saturday 😅
We keep in touch but our focuses are very different ❤️
