Enjoying The Space And Peace Of Mind It Would Bring - Blockchain Coffee “Raking Leaves”
Isn’t it strange how we long for the things we do not have even if those things entail a taking on of physical labour?
I have been lucky as of late, going on 10 years or so, not needing to do any yard work but that also means I have not had a yard to enjoy! This will not change anytime soon but when I move on sept 1st I will gain a deck, some outside space at least. Currently I only have a cement parking stall right out side the door blasted by the sun from 10am-6pm.
I find myself thinking about how to make it a relaxing outdoor space.
First thought is plants, on the railings in some form of hanging baskets, for the sake of obscuring vision and creating the illusion of being in nature.
Second is about noise, a little water feature can go a long way in creating a tranquil space.
Third and final idea is aroma from fresh split cedar. Just a few pieces of cedar sitting around will produce a strong aroma which for myself and Mel has a euphoric effect having grown up in Saw Mill families.
As I stated, isn’t it strange, I find myself longing not only for the luxury of a yard but more the act of maintaining, such as raking leaves, just enjoying the space and peace of mind it would bring.
