I am Cameo The Friendly Dragon,
Breathing fire but not to burn your wagon.

Creating a fuss of things gone awry,
Spewing smoke and fire in the sky.

A name given, when i was young,
Cameothedragon my story begun.

Using words like bullets from a gun,
Fire and smoke flowing off my tongue.

Intervening when you need it most,
Fire and smoke with the power to roast.

I got my name from Diane Pley,
Brought to a party and left to die.

She called, I answered, lost she was,
I’m on my way just because.

I rescue those that need it most,
I have a mission and dare not coast.

Entering the party, surrounded by fire and smoke,
I’m in my element and ready to roast.

Any challenges that may come my way,
“Move you fuckers, where is Diane Pley”

You dragged her here in a drunken stupor,
Malicious intent the group had duped her.

Taking her out to the blackberry bushes,
Being cut in the dark no matter where she pushes.

Nobody dared to stand in my way,
The crowd dispersing seeing where she lay.

I scooped Diane up to her relief,
A dragon arrived saving her from grief.

Was easy to get in but hard to leave,
The violence started and I’d get no reprieve.

Sticks and stones and even a few fists,
I took them all, I don’t think any missed.

A shot to the jaw and a strike to the back,
As long as they don’t hit the prize that I pack.

Bumped and bruised both still alive,
Leaving the party with my head held high.

My mission is over, the job is done,
But this is where my story begun.

You called me Cameo The Dragon Of Old,
For years to come my story was told.

A force to recon with I heard from many,
Protecting those from whom don’t give a penny.

I stood at odds with most of the school,
For my groups safety standing as the rule.

You mess with one of us, best fear the fire,
When you see my smoke it’s time to retire.

For even now I live up to this name,
The dragon of old I don’t care for the fame!

What is within my power, I shall always do,
Left with one question I ask directly to you.

Can a dragon be benevolent?
I say the signs are evident!
