Brave as they Come

My sister wrote this eerily prophetic fiction at age 15, so the short story isn't mine, but I blog ad nauseum about the unsolved murder of Julie Benning, 1975 Iowa Cold Case. It's hard to accept that murderers are hiding in plain sight among us. Someone stole my sister's life. Nothing changes that, but I thirst for answers, all the same, and in fiction, I indulge in vigilante justice.
