Homes In Oslo - Living FREE - The Workshop And Lysopp Part 3

in #freedom6 years ago

Welcome , Welcome!

This is part 3 documenting on Winter 2016 the places ive occupied since traveling to Norway.

For those just joining (since im finding better tags to use) heres abit about what im writing about.

I am travelling 8 years starting in a van of which I have started already writing on here - The HusBus Adventures. I quit the "house life" and since then have been living for free. Since Norway I have been squatting my own places which means moving into empty houses that arent used for over 5 years atleast. Im not really a blogger but I post on Steemit because it is a thing for people who want freedom and independance to post what they please and to even trade a currency peer to peer. I get a place to store my travel stories and thoughts on whats happening in society and share this Alternative Lifestyle that I so strongly want to promote.

Without further a due heres the next part of this blog.. and heres the link for heres part one

This is a cabin me and a mate moved into, it was situated on a huge pices of land with many other buildings. In this picture we were taking of the boards to let light inside. We had repaired the windows and dried it out for a few days with two wood burners inside, one that we fitted ourselves. We dont have many surviving pictures, but heres a view of the long driveway from the porch that you see on the left in the picture above. It was a beautiful place really.

We had an English guy stay with us as he had no place to stay he was traveling with guitar. Theres no Solidarity in Oslo if you pass through, but if anyone ever needs a place to crash we do actually have "Toms cabin" recently renamed "number 6" when we saw it had a house number. Its a cabin our mate Tom cleaned up and its unused and fully fitted with bare essentials. I will definitely do a post on this soon! I have had many people I found in Oslo looking for a place to stay but all the places are now owned by the state and aint real atall. Conformist places dressed in punk paint, no solidarity whatsoever. I know some places to park up aswell!

It was Cronus' Birthday coming up so we got ready for a party!

This is how the lounge looked in the end below. Everything you see is from the trash recycled *except for the balloons! And then taken on public transport and carried up to the place.

Heres a poster that was put up in places to advertise it. We didnt have anyone to invite really, just the neighbors from the nearby squat, and so I decided to put the party invite onto Couchsurfing. This was awesome we got around 12 people i think it was who had nothing to do in boring Oslo, and then they came along! We met at a bar in the city I had made it clear from the start that we would have drugs and alcohol there, so nobody would have felt uncomfortable when it started to get messy and to let there hair down.

There was MDMA and Ketamine there after the vodka was finished. One guy asked me what everybody had that made them acting the way they were, relaxed, loving, more sociable and understanding. It was Mdma, I told him, and he said "Can I have some?!"

This guy had never had Mdma before. Open minds Here please

If you want to know the effects of real MDMA , then this little story here is a fucking hilarious story of the effects of this chemical drug.

He had some and went to chill out and socialise. A couple of hours later I look over and see him snogging an Austrian couchsurfer, who had previously told me he was married...
Then we watched then leave the cottage hand in hand, and didnt return for around 2 hours.

I was stood in the kitchen and then one of them arrived with a terrified look of despair holding out his hands infront of him, asking frantically where he could wash them. I was fucking high as a kite at this point and found it hard to explain that we just have cold water and a sink, and that he should go use the snow.
He then told me that he had already tried but it didnt work.
I asked him why he needed to clean them and this line I will never ever forget in a thick Polish accent:
"I have shit on my hands!"

OK.

I just turned around, and went back into the lounge in laughter. Wow that night had got messy indeed.

Heres the only picture that I should show really hahaha..

We stayed here for another couple of weeks until oneday we got evicted by security and the owner. After being blunt with them and refusing their request that we leave within 30 minutes, we got allowed 5 hours.

I had time to call a mate and use his car, and we managed to move what we needed back down to The Workshop. We also swapped our fucked wood oven for the good one in the lounge and just before we left i thought to make a hole in the floor under the slab of marble by the fire place we put in, so that we could get back in later when they had borded it all up again.

So back to the Workshop , and time to make the office into a room for Cronus to stay in.

I already had a fire in my room and heres a how we turned the office into a room, very cosy for a winter. He made a bed there too in the second picture.

We had a huge yard at the workshop and made a green house ready for spring to start growing food and some weed for our personal use. There was a shed out the back full of junk and lots of plastic. With the trees I had cut to stop leaves falling on the roof, we had enough material to make a huge greenhouse lashed together with string. We made Hugel culture taking the rotten wood that seemed to be in mass there and started making rows hugel style.

Heres the epic South-facing greenhouse.

In the next part we get evicted and I somehow dont end up in Jail! By then anyway it should have been spring so we moved into the forest and set up a perminant camp..

Hope your enjoying this original content!! Check out my travels with no finacial backup starting in a van down below..
