As some of you know I have a farm here.

And my knowledge of farming (sucks) is minimal, so I have hired some local people who had no work, these people know how to farm so it is a win win situation for all concerned, I now get more time for family, fun and for helping my friend Tom Duggan with his new account here https://steemit.com/informationwar/@tomduggan/my-introduction-post-independent-journalist-tom-duggan-in-syria.

I aim to get him hooked up with dtube soon, though at the moment he is uploading video via mobile phone wireless internet, due to Syria having limited to at times zero internet because of sanctions from the west & bombs.

He uploads to fb, and yt at the moment, this takes many hours already, so get get him to commit to dtube full time and first not last, I suppose will take some persuasion from us, all of us.

If anyone else would like to help him please feel free to chip in on his account with words of advice, also any questions you have regards the ongoing proxy war in Syria. He is going to try to answer the best question every day, via a video.

I honestly thought at first I could do all this alone.

Sometimes we all need a helping hand, and I realized that my quality time with family was suffering due to me always being out in the fields, or workshop restoring motorbikes. Then spending most of my night time on here. So I have to balance duties a little better. Getting some help around the farm gives me much more time to do anything I want, which I why I came here in the first place.

So if ever you get as stubborn as me, take a step back and reflect on what could be, not what is. Quality of life over quantity of things is the key.

I should be able to get that solar post out by Monday, I have gone for a 30 amp regulator, it even has 2 USB ports yippee.

If you watched my freak out regarding my pension funds being stolen last week, I can happily announce I have that covered now via a solicitors firm in the UK, that were more than happy to take it on with no win no fee, they are also 100% confident of a positive result, so that puts that to bed. (big up to @practicalthought)

Really glad to see some light at the end that tunnel my friend, I hope your solicitors enable the return of all your money .. plus extra for the stress it has caused!

It should work out at even bro, they are charging me 20% plus vat, though charging liberty sipp 5 years interest, 1 should in theory negate the other, so fingers crossed.
Thanks my friend.

@deliberator You have received a random upvote from @transparencybot for not using bidbots on this post and using the #nobidbot tag!

Hey, so happy to see that law firm turned out to be a good lead. So jacked that many companies like that make off with years of others sweat and work, many unable to ever recover from such a blow.

Looking forward to the post on the free electricity. I only have about a week before I will me absent for a couple weeks, so good timing.

Holiday time is it? I am off on holiday also in a few weeks, my mother is over for her yearly dose of sunshine for 2 weeks.
Big storm in the UK at the moment with 100 mph winds and rain, so she will be happy to arrive here to sunshine and 30c.

Going back home to reunite with my partner.

I thought you had done that last week, my bad.
You not going to have the net along the way?.

I don't trust the computers I will have access to, nor do I ever use my phone for such things.

Fair enough, I will look forward to your speedy return, just let me know you arrive safely, I have enough with worrying about herleeb and arthur.grafo last week plus you.

Thanks, will do. I should be getting back online soon after the first. Still have 6 days left (most of 6 days. Resetting my computer to factory settings on the 6th day).

that's very cool. Glad you have the people to help you make it happen!

Cheers good lady, hows the sales going?.

Good idea getting in some help. And great news about the solicitors :)

Cheers bro, I am a stubborn old fart at times, though this made sense, and it took my good lady to keep pointing out the error of my ways to get there.

quality of life - wise priority there - :)

and hats off to you also for helping Tom, I'm following him now. I'm always drawn to people trying to get the truth out... this time on the ground in Syria

edit afterthough... what do you think about Tom letting @tlavagabond help him get the word out. He's another person telling it straight.

Cheers my friend, and regards my mate Tom, he is a good old head, he never stretches the truth, just states facts, that is why I like him, he is bang on the money, and I like to help good people.

To start:

Quality of life over quantity of things is the key.

That is a line that people need to really learn. Your home is threatened by a fire, you have 4 minutes to get in your vehicle and skedaddle out of there, or you die a horrible burning death. If you can not put your "things" you want in your car with your wife and dogs, then they do not add to the quality of your life. Grab the wife, kids, pets, and wallet, and go. That's all that matters in the end.

I truly hope your legal system works a little bit faster than ours. It took 2 1/2 years of probate court just to settle out a will.

Cheers my friend and yes, the UK works a lot faster than that, I have been given a 3 month deadline, so it should be settled out of court before then.

Oh! All the respect.

I didn't know you're a redneck. :)
I'm also a more rural type of a guy.
Is also one of the reasons I don't spend so much time around here.
Nice to read.
Very knightly of you to give people jobs to spend more time with family. :)
I'll help as much as I feel I'm able too from my position.

I wish you all the best and good luck!
And thank you for your nice articles.
