I see Guide Dogs in Training all the time. They perform crucial functions for people needing help in different areas of their life being disabled or differently abled somehow.
I was at a hockey game a couple years back for our Jr. Hockey Team -- the Oshawa Generals -- and in the seat next to me, was a little black lab puppy in training just like this one I grabbed a photo of.
It was later at night and the puppy was worn out from a day of training and spent most of the game under the seat and it was so cute LOL.
I have a photo somewhere of that little puppy too!!!

Guide Dog Open House in My Area Coming Up!!
Dog Guides’ 2017 Fall Open House set for October 14th
Time to mark your calendars! Dog Guides Canada’s Fall Open House is set for Saturday, October 14th at our Oakville facility (152 Wilson St.). This semi-annual event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and features Instructor demonstrations from our six Dog Guide programs and a tour of the facility. Visitors will also have an opportunity to snuggle with future Dog Guide puppies, enjoy refreshments, and participate in our silent auction fundraiser. This family-friendly event provides guests with an opportunity to learn more about our foster puppy and volunteer programs, and is guaranteed fun for every age!
There is no need to register to attend this year’s Fall Open House. Tours will be held throughout the day on Saturday, October 14th and are approximately one hour in length. The Open House is a free event, although our Foundation is accepting donations in support of each of the Dog Guides programs.

Labs are very intelligent dogs and make good companion dogs whether it is for someone who is blind or needs other assistance.
I am so allergic to most animals but I like them so much!
Man it was so great having that little one like this one -- next me at the Gens game like I was saying in here, I kept checking on the pooch under the seat, it was very distracting for me lol
