I've seen a lot of these spools used as goat toys, so when we recently picked up some big cable to hook up the power to our mobile home, we got one for free! Serious bonus! After covering the hole in the center, we were ready to introduce it to the goats. Since the kids are still in the temporary pen, we first presented it to the older goats. Since goats like to climb and jump on top of things, we thought that it might make a good free toy for them.
We put some feed on top of it for them, and they certainly enjoyed a nice meal together at the table, but in the end it looked more like goats playing poker, than goats having fun on a goat "jungle gym." Maybe in time they'll figure it out, but for now, it'll make for some fun photos. Plus, it was free. For more fun, check out the video above.

Now you just need to make the top of it a steem logo and get a picture of the goats around it. You would probably win your own contest, plus it would make an awesome meme.

If you put the spool wheel upright the goats will walk on it rolling it around the yard, like a balancing act Ha Ha. I've seen goats do it.
