She woke. Pushed up. Where? … I’m naked. The blinding light in the spacious black. Velvet? The chaise! The ice clinked on ‘chaise.’ He’s behind me. What happened, my god. She sprang up, felt their eyes, loved their ears, rode their intake of breath. Hate/fear. Plant. “What did you do?”
